Yesterday out again near Bear Valley with the metal detectors I found a old silver plated spoon in a small creek that was in there who knows how many years. I was using a Whites GM3 that has a setting for iron discrimination that I must say works very well. My friend was using a Gold Bug and in just a little while found a nice 30 -30 or close to it mushroomed bullet that is good for a conversation piece! The Gold eluded us for another day, but hey, it is not going anywhere :-)
