As we close out January, a month where we had almost normal rain fall 5.99 now versus 6.20 that is the average Mariposa receives in a normal January. But I suspect we would have a little more than that up here at our elevation of 3,300 ft. Only one day of just a tad of snow also. It has been warm up here compared to the last two winters, as my ponds have not frozen yet. This is good for the people who burn propane or electricity for heat. But alas we also like the snow or at the very least snow flurries to raise our hopes !! The old timers say there have been some heavy snows all the way out to April, so I guess we will wait and see.
