Moccasin Fish Hatchery on the way to Yosemite,Yosemite Photos,Yosemite 2004

What is this place? Why it is the Moccasin fish hatchery operated by the Department of Fish and Game.
Located at the junction of Highway 49 and 120 on the way south to Yosemite from Sonora.
Here the fish are raised from fingerlings to about 8 oz.size or a little bigger ,
then loaded into trucks or airplanes and dumped into the lakes and rivers in the area.
