A long road home to Mariposa.
With a bright moon high in the blue sky
and rolling undulating hills, the back roads
home to Mariposa make for a enjoyable
way to end a day of dodging the Valley traffic.

After the Costco run down to Merced yesterday and doing the other things that are associated with a trip to the valley a relaxing way to head home is to take G street North out of Merced over to Snelling then head East up into the foothills and if time permits (as it always should !) take off onto a road and find out where it goes !
Many views of the mountains and foothills and range animals can be seen.
The above road is a side road found East of Hornitos.
