A Forest Path Covered In Snow,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2006

A forest path covered in snow awaits to be explored.
So quiet the mountains with a blanket of white.
The crunch of snow under boots is very loud.

After the weekend snow storm we still have snow up here, but the south facing slopes are looking pretty bare as the ground was not very cold when the snow began. In fact we had mutiple days when the weather was almost in the 70's ! Add that with the heat of the sun and the snow does not last very long.
It looks like a fantastic day to go to Yosemite and stay until the evening hours !!
