A Spring Morning With Snow In The Trees,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2006

As Spring announced itself yesterday with an early morning
rain it decided to make the day memorable by snowing in
the afternoon, giving us three inches of the powdery,
swirling white flakes in the first hour !

Wow, Spring, warm days, the fresh smell of wildflowers, reading a novel in the sunshine.

Not here, no siree, we have snow !
We had three inches from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM yesterday! Winding up with over seven inches total.
Now we are up to right at four feet of snow since February 17. A record ? Possibly!

And what happens when in it snows in the mountains ?
Right ! The power goes on the blink, as it has this morning for about two hours.

Enjoy this white stuff today, touch it, feel it, taste it, this could be the last of the season.
