Deer Playing In The Yard,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2006

The deer love the snow as they play and cavort
in the new fallen snow. Sometimes they get so
giddy they try to fly !

The deer in the above photo almost achieved flight, but as you can see his tail was on the wrong angle for flight. I tried to go out there and hold his tail but he is still a little nervous of me.

Reading the headlines from the front page of the Goldrushcam there is an article on Mariposa. Go read it and save it for the end of the month of April when 'Mariposa Weekend In The Country' kicks off.

Also the video from channel 30 on the falls in Yosemite is worth watching.
