What a great day it was in Sonora,California yesterday as the sun was shining and a slight breeze was in the air. The event was the 11th Annual Sonora Spring Festival located in the historic downtown area with craft merchants on the sidewalks, in the parks and wherever else they could squeeze in. Tours of historic buildings were also available. We had a very good day there and will be back next year for the 12th festival ! The crowds were friendly as everyone was out of the house enjoying the weather and looking at all the crafts items for sale. Quite a few were dressed in period costume and having a blast. Here are a couple of them, the one on the left told me his name was Davey Crockett and the lady on the right I fail to remember her name but she is dressed in the fashion of the 1860's !
