An April Weather System In Mariposa County

With the Lush Meadows area thrust into deep
shadow from threatening overhead dark clouds
the Kirby Peak / Signal Peak mountains are
in bright sunshine along with wind
swirled clouds.

This photo was taken from a rainy mid April Good Friday afternoon in Bootjack, California looking East into the Sierra Range. With the rain from that day we are now over 40 inches of the liquid for the season ! With a little more in the forecast for today.
