What a rain yesterday afternoon in Mariposa !!
At about 4:00 PM as the Mariposa Rock and Gem Show was winding up the rains came down heavier and heavier. The parking lot of the Mariposa Fairgrounds became a brown river of rain and mud.
Saturday was a good day at the show as a lot of people came through looking at all the different rocks and minerals for sale and the weather cooperated for us.
Sunday with the drizzly weather was a slower day as people stayed home to be with family for Easter. But it was a festive mood among the vendors and the ones who ventured out for the day. All in all it was a good show for all concerned.
Later we will post some photos from the show !
