Old Chevrolet Truck in Mariposa County

This antique rust covered Chevrolet must have
made many of trips around Mariposa County
in it's day as the truck jounced and bounced
over the old roads giving the dogs in the
back a good scaring once in awhile !

I am sure some readers probably saw this truck running around Mariposa in it's day when it looked a lot better than it does now. What color it was orignally we do not know, but I will say like a light blue as I can picture that truck coming around a dusty curve on a summer morning into Mariposa for something from the hardware store to keep a pump running or some other machinery that needed this or that. How well those headlights lit up the road on dark rainy evening we can only imagine.

The truck has the modern sealed beam headlamps. The black ring is the adpter to the new lens
