Page One

All smiles as Lee Stetson gets ready to cut the ribbon.
In the photo from left to right:
Sarah Moffett, representative for Senator Dianne Feinstein,
Janet Bibby, Mariposa County Supervisor, District 3,
Michael Tollefson, Superintendent for Yosemite National Park,
Lee Stetson, Mariposa County Supervisor, District 1, (cutting the ribbon),
George Radanovich, U.S. Congressman, 19th Congressional District,
Leslie VanMeter, Representing the Sierra National Forest,
Kome Ajise, District 10 Director for Caltrans ( not fully in the photo ).

Lee finally cuts the ribbon !!

The ceremony is over with and the fun begins as Leroy Radanovich seems to be looking for Lee Stetson and Lee keeps...

trying to escape through the bus window !!

With everyone onboard the busses are ready to cross the bridge !

There they go ! Crossing over the first bridge they head upriver about a half a mile to the other bridge.

After crossing the other bridge and turning around the school bus makes it's way back over the first bridge,
driving slow and cautious around the entrance to the bridge !

This is the new bridge that recrosses the Merced River bringing the traffic back onto the 140 !

Heading back down the Merced River Canyon we find another of those rare sights in Mariposa County, two traffic lights !!
