Charles Phillips, an outstanding photographer, started taking pictures at an early age as a 4-H member and continues today.  He says, “I was raised on a ranch, which gave many opportunities to experience taking photos of the great outdoors.   I feel that photographing the western way of life is a way to preserve history for future generations.”  Charles has had photos selected to be on display in Times Square, and presently his photos are on exhibit at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado, as a part of the National Day of the Cowboy.  He has had many photographs published in Western Magazines, as well as in many international magazines.

His feel for Western Photography is outstanding and would be a joy to experience on Art Trails’ weekend.
