During the evening of Saturday, October 7, 2006 Mariposa County Sheriff’s Deputies and Mariposa County Fire responded to 4124 Sullivan Road, Mariposa, to investigate a report of threats and arson.  Upon arrival the officers found a structure fire with firearm ammunition firing off from within the burn.  Investigation has revealed that Mr. Justin Ryan Araque (dob 11-29-77) is responsible for the arson, intentionally placing ammunition inside of the targeted burn area, and is currently wanted by law enforcement for several warrants.  One of these warrants was issued for this criminal act of arson.  Bail for this warrant has been set at $150,000.00.  Araque is described as being a white male adult, 6’04”, 190 lbs, black hair with hazel eyes.  If you have information as to Araque’s whereabouts, please immediately notify the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office at (209) 966-3615 or (800) 774-8314.
