Multiple fire/smoke calls in the county yesterday as a weather system moved through the county during the later morning hours. The first call came in from Yellow Pine Hill Road where the caller reported seeing smoke. A few minutes later the caller from Grist Road reported seeing fire/smoke on Allred Road. The third reported call came in from Oak Grove Road reporting a vegetation fire. The fourth call came in from Parker Drive where a tree was reported to be on fire. The fifth call came in from Silver Bar Ridge Road where the caller reported seeing fire/smoke. The sixth call came in from Chowchilla Mountain Road where the caller reported seeing smoke.
One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident occurred during the later morning hours over at Horseshoe Bend.
A rattlesnake was doing something or other on Mount Ophir Road.
During the morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Allred Road and later during the early evening hours at the Art Park.
Someone was trespassing on Half Dome Court during the afternoon hours.
Petty theft was reported from the Ponderosa Basin.
A boater was stranded on Lake McClure.
During the very late evening hours the caller from Usona Road reported hearing LOUD voices and the sound of dirt bikes.
Two fellows were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI and Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription.

One fire was reported in the county yesterday and that fire occurred during the Midnight hour in La Grange.
One accident was reported in the county yesterday and that accident occurred during the later afternoon hours on West Whitlock Road.
On Sierra Pines Drive a cat was in a tree.
The caller from Humbug Creek Drive reported a rattlesnake.
On Canasta Court neighbors were having issues.
A landlord and a tenant were also having issues on Holtzel Road.
A burglary was reported from Usona Road.
A caller reported the clock was stopped at the Courthouse.
During the noon hour a suspicious person was at Briceburg.
A vessel was stranded on Lake McClure.
A person who was allegedly shoplifting on the 140 near Mariposa was sent to the local lock-up for awhile.
A swimmer was reported missing at Briceburg.
Someone possible abandoned some animals at the Mariposa County High School.
A possible squatter was noticed on Dogtown Road.
Four fellows and one lady were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Disorderly Conduct, Driving With a Suspended License/Etc., DUI and Burglary.

The caller from Woodview Lane was having problems with a rattlesnake at three in the morning.
Out on Watt Road feral pigs were creating problems.
Vandalism was reported from 49 North near Mariposa.
The caller from Grosjean Road had multiple concerns.
Someone was making threats on Triangle Road.
The caller from Tip Top Road reported that someone attempted to steal a vehicle and a burglary was reported from that same road a few hours later.
During the early evening hours a suspicious vehicle was observed on Ridge Top Road.
During the evening hours an explosion was heard on Ranchito Drive.
Four fellows were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Disorderly Conduct, Driving With a Suspended License/Etc., Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Inflicting Corporal Injury on a Spouse/Co-habitant.

Two reported fires in the county yesterday with the first call coming in during the morning hours in the Bootjack area. The second reported fire was a structure fire on the 132 near Coulterville during the evening hours.
No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
During the noon hour a dog was locked in a vehicle on Coakley Circle.
A dog was reported to be in distress on Italian Creek Road.
Injured cats that were out on Watt Road were sent to Impound.
On Twin Oaks Road a mailbox was vandalized and vandalism occurred at the Red Cloud Library.
During the noon hour suspicious circumstances were taking place on Usona Road and later at the KOA Campgrounds.
Someone was trespassing on Grosjean Road and on Kemble Road.
During the 7:00 P.M. hour construction noise on Boat Club Drive had the neighbors calling the sheriff department.
On Granite Springs Road some jerk vandalized someone's rocks.
One fellow was booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for Parole Violation.

One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire was reported during the late morning hours from Meadow Lane.
No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
A barking dog on 6th Street had the neighbors all in a dither.
A neglected horse was noticed on Hirsch Road.
Animal abuse was reported from Allred Road.
Vandalism was reported from Hillside Drive and Indian Peak Road.
During the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on Hite's Cove Road.
Squatters were on Half Dome Road.
A landlord and a tenant were having problems on Oak Road.
Someone was challenged to a fight at Yosemite Gifts and someone went to the pokey.
One fellow was booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Threatening a Crime.

Three reported fire/smoke calls in the county yesterday with the first call coming in during the afternoon hours from Hornitos Road where the caller reported seeing fire or smoke and a few minutes later a call came in about a structure fire on that same road. The third call came in during the evening hours from the Ponderosa Basin area where the caller reported smelling smoke.
One reported accident in the county yesterday with that call coming in during the afternoon hours from somewhere on the 140 near Mariposa.
Barking dogs on Hirsch Road and over on Colorado Road had the neighbors in a tizzy.
Vandalism was reported from the Art Park and a vehicle was vandalized on 9th Street.
During the morning hours suspicious circumstances were taking place along the Mariposa Creek Walkway and later during the afternoon hours at the Coulterville Visitors Center.
A disturbance was occurring at the Coulterville Park during the afternoon hours and on Jessie Street in Mariposa.
Five fellows were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI, Violating a Preventive Domestic Violence Order, Probation Violation, Driving Without a License, Transporting/Selling Narcotics or a Controlled Substance.

Three reported fires in the county yesterday with the first fire being reported during the afternoon hours on Oak Grove School Road where power lines were down. A second reported fire from the 140 near Cathey's Valley ended up with no fire being found. A third reported fire during the afternoon hours was on French Camp Road where a few acres burned before being fully contained.
One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the afternoon commute hours on the 140 in the Merced River Canyon just West of the Ferguson Bridges where three to four cars were involved and two Medi-Flight helicopters were called in to take accident victims out of the area.
Over on Zelma Way a kitten was stuck in rocks.
A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at the Mariposa Museum and History Center.
Vandalism was reported from near Ranchito and Hayward Roads.
During the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were noticed on Pine Street and during the late afternoon hours on Snow Creek Road and finally at the Fairgrounds during the evening hours.
Grand theft was reported from the Comfort Inn.
Someone had a complaint about the Mariposa County Park in Mariposa.
The caller from Snyder Ridge Road reported a possible attempted burglary.
Someone who was allegedly abusing animals on 49 South near Mariposa was sent to the county lock-up
Someone on 7th Street had concerns about safety.
A wallet was found and is at the Sheriff Department Lobby in Mariposa.
Someone was trespassing on Cerro Sierra Road during the evening hours.
Three fellows and two ladies were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Disorderly Conduct, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Cruelty to Animals, Cruelty to a Child, Drivers License Suspended and Dog Attack.

Three reported fires in the county yesterday with the first call coming in during the very early morning hours from the 132 near La Grange. The second reported fire came in during the noon hour and was on Highway 49 North near Coulterville. The third reported fire was on the Mount Bullion Access Road during the later afternoon hours.
One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place on 49 North near Bear Valley during the afternoon hours.
At the Indian Flat Campground a Raven was in distress.
Vandalism was reported from Daffodil Road and later another call came in about a vehicle that had been vandalized on that same road.
During the morning hours over on Wild Rose Lane suspicious circumstances were taking place.
A burglary was reported from Mariposa Creek Circle.
Someone was trespassing on Cotton Creek Road.
A trespassing squatter was noticed on East Whitlock Road.
No one was booked yesterday in the county under lock and key as everyone was just enjoying the summer weather.

One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire was reported as a vegetation fire near the intersection of Tip Top Road and Highway 49 South during the early evening hours.
Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident occurring during the very early morning hours over on Boat Club Drive that involved a solo vehicle. The second reported accident took place on the 49 near Mariposa during the evening hours.
A resident on Yaqui Gulch Road reported that they were missing a calf.
Wakeboarders were causing problems at Temperance Cove.
Someone was driving fast on Silva Road.
Petty theft was reported from the 140 near Mariposa.
During the afternoon hours a suspicious person was observed on Coakley Circle.
A residence was burglarized on Gusanillo Way.
During the late evening hours a party on Old Orchard Lane involved trespassing.

Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident occurring on Triangle Road during the morning hours. The second reported accident took place on West Whitlock Road during the afternoon hours.
Two loose boxers were out exploring on Silver Doctor Road.
During the early morning hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Harris Road.
Lost property was reported from 10th Street.
Vandalism was reported from the Stage Stop.
During the afternoon hours someone was being harassed at the Grizzly Gas Station.
A domestic dispute on 5th Street resulted in someone going to the cooler.
During the afternoon hours someone was trespassing on Dogtown Road.
On Converse Road residents were having a discussion over a speed bump.
A scam was reported from Snyder Ridge Road.
An easement was causing two neighbors to have a disagreement.
During the late evening hours a physical disturbance out at McClure Point resulted in someone going to the pokey for the night.

The caller from Rainbow Road reported that two boxers were missing.
A Jack Russell Terrier was missing from Meadow Lane.
A water truck was vandalized on the Chowchilla Mountain Road.
During the early afternoon hours someone was making threats on 10th Street and an aggressive dog was on 10th Street a few hours later.
During the evening hours a vehicle was vandalized on Sierra Drive.
One fellow was booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for Probation Violation.

A dog was reported missing from Bailey Flats.
Someone's horses were out on Buckeye Road.
Over on Stout Lane roommates were having problems.
A landlord and a tenant were having problems on Stout Lane.
Neighbors were having issues on Sierra Drive and on Oak Road.
A domestic dispute was occurring at the Lake McSwain campgrounds during the morning hours.
Also during the morning hours suspicious circumstances were reported from Broadway Street in Coulterville.
A scam was reported from Colorado Road.

Two reported fires in the county yesterday with the first reported fire coming in during the afternoon hours as an unknown type of fire on Upper Trower Road. The second reported fire occurred during the early evening hours somewhere on Highway 49.

The caller from East Whitlock reported that their Great Dane was missing and two dogs are also missing from Snow Creek Road.
During the afternoon hours someone was trespassing on Triangle Road.
Theft was reported from Hospital Road.
During the evening hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Royal Arches Road and later suspicious circumstances were occurring on Ashworth Road.

Someone on Oak Grove Road is missing their dog and a dog is also missing from Buckeye Road.
Roommates on Garcia Court were having problems that included threats and burglary of a room.
Threats were also being made on Stout Lane.
During the later morning hours a suspicious person was observed on Rancheria Creek Road and later during the early evening hours on Watt Road.
A suspicious vehicle was noticed on the Priest/Coulterville Road during the early evening hours.
A suspicious noise was heard on Chicharra Way.

The second reported fire was a dumpster fire by Yosemite Liquors also during the morning hours. The third reported fire was a vegetation fire out on Merced Falls Road during the afternoon hours.

During the very early morning hours a bear was causing problems on Butterfly Ridge Road.

Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident occurring during the afternoon hours at the McClure Point Marina. The second reported accident was down in the Briceburg area during the evening hours.

A dog that bit someone on Oak Road was sent to Impound.
A puppy that was found on Morningstar Lane was sent to Impound.
During the Midnight hour there was a suspicious vehicle behind True Value in Mariposa and also during the later morning hours on Worman Road.

Someone who was causing a disturbance at the cemetery in Mariposa was provided a free lift to the county jail.

Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident being reported during the early morning hours where a vehicle overturned way out on Ben Hur Road. The second reported accident occurred near the Burger King during the later afternoon hours.
A stray dog that was wandering around the Art Park was sent to Impound and a stray pit bull that was on 7th Street was also sent to Impound.
During the later morning hours a suspicious person was observed on 49 North near Mariposa and a short time later someone reported being harassed on that same highway.
A burglary was reported from Crystal Aire Drive and out on Indian Peak Road.
During the late evening hours someone's property was found at the Art Park.

During the morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Fachada Way and during the evening hours on Hunters Valley Road that resulted in someone getting a lift to the Mariposa County Jail.
Grand theft was reported from Lake McClure.
Petty theft took place on Boyer Road and at the Super 8 Motel.
On Hirsch Road a landlord and a tenant were having a disagreement.
A missing persons report was filed from 11th Street.
During the late evening hours someone was having a LOUD party on Mariposa Street.

One reported fire in the county yesterday and that call came in during the early evening hours from Woodland Drive where the caller reported a possible structure fire.
One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the Midnight hour on the 140 near Mariposa.
During the Midnight hour a bear was causing problems on Buckingham Mountain Road.
Over on Buckeye Road the caller reported that dogs were messing around with an unknown animal.
Someone was trespassing at Bagby and later on Yaqui Gulch Road.
A burglary/civil issue call came in from the Jeffery Hotel.
Some jerk dumped their junk on Ernst Road.
Someone was making threats on Carter Road.
Fireworks were being shot off at the Art Park in Mariposa during the noon hour.
Carbon monoxide poisoning was reported from Horseshoe Bend.
The caller from Coakley Circle reported receiving a suspicious package.
On 49 North near Coulterville someone was brandishing a weapon.

One reported fire/smoke call in the county yesterday and that call came in from Coachman Road where the caller reported seeing smoke during the evening hours.
A couple of reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first call coming in during the noon hour on the 140 near Mariposa. The second reported accident occurred on Yaqui Gulch Road during the evening hours.
A dog that was on Coakley Circle was sent to Impound.
A fawn that was possibly abandoned was found on Rainbow Road and two abandoned fawns were reported from El Capitan Road.
During the Midnight hour a prowler was reported from 49 North near Mariposa.
During the very early morning hours parties were reported from the Horseshoe Bend area and out on Dexter Lane.
Also during the later evening hours noise complaints came in from the Shore Fun Trailer Park and Schaffer Road.
Some jerk dumped their junk on Darrah Road.
During the later morning hours a domestic dispute on Saint Andrews Road led to someone going to the pokey to cool off.
The caller from Watt Road reported that someone had blocked an access road.
A disabled vehicle was out on the Ferguson Ridge Road.

On Hillside Drive a tree was possibly on the roadway.

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident occurred during the morning commute hours on 49 North near Coulterville where a bread truck went over the embankment and down the hill around 200 feet with the driver luckily not hurt.
A dog was reported missing from Banderilla Drive.
During the very early morning hours the caller from Saint Andrews Apartments reported hearing a noise.
During the later evening hours a prowler was reported from Meadow Lane.
Dogs were reported missing from Carstens Road along with suspicious circumstances.
Over on Schoolhouse Road someone was having county road issues.
On Coachman Road there was a call from a concerned citizen.
The caller from the Woodland Shell reported that someone was allegedly selling alcohol to a minor during the evening hours.
Also during the evening hours there was a disturbance at the Pizza Factory.
One fellow was booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for Driving Without a License.
