Monday May 31, 2010
 Two fires were reported in the area yesterday and they both were reported within a few minutes of each other. The first call came in during the noon hour about a vegetation fire on the 132 near Coulterville. The second call was about a vegetation fire that was burning on Hornitos Road near Catheys Valley.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday as everyone was being very careful on Memorial Day.
 An injured horse was on Jalapa Way.
 On the Mount Bullion Ridge Road a landlord and a tenant were having issues.
 Someone was panhandling at the Stage Stop.
 During the late evening hours a suspicious vehicle was observed on Bullion Street.
 And Finally, During the noon hour a steer was reported on the road near Buckeye Road and Dawn Road. The caller reported that the steer was headed towards Raymond.
 (Must have had an important meeting)
 Two fellows and two ladies were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI, Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Providing False Registration and Corporal Injury on a Spouse/Co-Habitant.

 One reported fire/smoke call in the county yesterday and that call came in during the noon hour where the caller reported smoke on Ponderosa Ridge.
Two reported accidents in the county yesterday and they both occurred on the 41 near Fish Camp. The first accident took place during the afternoon hours while the second accident occurred during the early evening hours where a truck rolled over onto the road and an ambulance was responding to the scene.
 An injured cat was on Woodview Lane.
During the later morning hours a suspicious person was observed on Usona Road.
 During the evening hours a suspicious vehicle was observed on 7th Street near the 140.
 During the noon hour someone on Saint Andrews Road lost their medication.
 A water main was reported broke on the 140 near Mariposa during the afternoon hours.
 A caller reported lost property on 5th Street.
Someone was trespassing on Gavilan Road.
 Out on Sherlock Road a landlord and a tenant were having issues.
 Vandalism was reported from Hunters Valley Road.
 Someone was target shooting on Mykleoaks Road.
And Finally, During the very late evening hours a physical disturbance was reported from the campgrounds at Horseshoe Bend.

No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Three reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first reported accident occurring during the very early morning hours where a car was reported to have spun off of the roadway on Highway 49 North near Bear Valley Road. The second reported accident was on Ben Hur Road during the later morning hours and the third reported accident took place on the 140 near Grosjean Road where a automobile was reported to have went off of the roadway.
 A lose goat was running around Sierra Drive.
 Someone was making threats at the Indian Flat Campgrounds.
 Someone on the 49 heard a horn honking.
 (Strange Indeed!)
 A found backpack was at the Sheriffs Dispatch lobby.
 Some jerk thought the Century 21 Office was a perfect place to dump their junk.
 (Install a camera)
 During the afternoon hours a tree was laying on Darrah Road.
 An assault and battery was reported from Watt Road.
 A child was reported lost

 Someone was trespassing at the Hasloe Mine.
 During the evening hours a loud party with live music was reported from Holtzel Road.
 And Finally, On Windsong Lane a bear was in the back yard.
 (We have been patiently waiting for a report on the Mariposa Bear. Looks like he survived another Winter!)

 One fire was reported in the county yesterday and that fire was a burn pile that was burning at the Mariposa County High School during the afternoon hours.
 Two accidents were reported in the county yesterday and they both involved motorcycles. The first accident took place on the 140 near Foresta Road where a motorcycle was down on the road and a ambulance was responding to the scene. The second accident took place on 49 North near Bagby during the afternoon hours when a a vehicle apparently ran a motorcycle off of the road. No injuries were reported with that accident.
 A dog was found on Indian Peak Road.
 An open gate was noticed on Ben Hur Road.
 A resident on Tip Top Road was having a cat problem.
 Vandalism was reported from the park in Coulterville.
 Unauthorized use of a credit card was reported from Elderberry Lane.
 During the noon hour suspicious circumstances were observed on Indian Peak Road.
 Theft of gas was reported from the Bootjack area.
 During the very late evening hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Campbell Way.
 A domestic dispute on Colorado Road had someone going to the pokey.
 Lost medication was reported from Guadalupe Mountain Road.
 And Finally, Those 'Juveniles' were at it again. This time five of them were reported to be out of control at the high school in Mariposa during the afternoon hours.

No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
The caller from Washburn Road reported a missing Brindle Boxer.
A caller from the Groveland area was reporting that someone apparently has an excessive number of animals.
A burglary was reported from Wilbur's Way.
A warrant that was served on Coachman Road resulted in an arrest.
Someone lost their keys in Mariposa.
(Another person that could use the FINDIT)
During the afternoon hours suspicious circumstances were reported from Snyder Ridge Road and then during the afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on the CYA Road and also during the very late evening hours a suspicious vehicle was observed on the Mount Bullion Extension Road.
A barking dog on Hites Cove Road was causing the neighbors to get upset.
And Finally, On Highway 49 during the afternoon hours a child of about two years old was near the roadway with a pitbull by her side.
(Not very safe to let a child near a busy roadway.)

Two fire calls in the county yesterday. The first call came in during the late morning hours about a boiler fire at the Wawona Hotel. The fire was contained not to long after the first call came in to the department. The second call came in from Greeley Hill Road during the early evening hours about vegetation that was burning.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that call came in during the afternoon commute hours from the 140 near El Portal where a single vehicle was in an accident and a ambulance was responding to the scene.
 A dog was lost on Tulipan Way.
 During the very early morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Crown Lead Road and also at the Coulterville Park during the evening hours.
 During the afternoon hours a suspicious person was hanging around Yosemite Liquors.
 Trespassing was reported from Creel Road.
 Someone was refusing to leave the Napa store.
 Someone was making threats on Broadway Street in Coulterville.
 And Finally, The caller from Sherlock Road requested the Sheriff Department make a welfare check on someone's dogs.
 (The department will make checks on animals, people and property if you request it.)

One smoke/fire call in the county yesterday with the first call coming in from Hornitos Road during the late afternoon hours where the caller reported seeing smoke.
 Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place on the 140 near Mariposa during the later morning hours. The second reported accident was about a motorcycle down on the road near Bagby during the very early evening hours.
 On Village Drive a kitten was trapped.
 A dead horse was on Dexter Lane.
 During the late morning hours suspicious circumstances were reported at the Sweetwater Mine and then on Exchequer Road during the late afternoon hours.
 Vandalism occurred on Schoolhouse Road.
 A burglary was reported from Quail Run Road.
 The caller from Ernst Road reported a possible scam.
 Reckless driving was reported on Cole Road.
 And Finally, A cat bite was reported at the Hospital.
 (Watch out for Cat Scratch Fever)

Two smoke fire/calls in the county yesterday with the first call coming in from Piney Creek Road during the early evening hours about fire/smoke. The second call was about a brush fire on French Camp Road during the evening hours.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 Two dogs were reported missing from Jalapa Way.
 The caller from Davis Road reported a phone scam.
 During the noon hour petty theft was reported from Cole Road.
 Someone who was illegally dumping on Jones Street received a warning.
 Possible squatters were on Madison Street.
 A resident on Elizabeth Lane reported being harassed.
 During the late afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed at Pioneer Village.
 A burglary that was reported from McCay Hall ended up being unfounded.
 And Finally, A skunk was under a house on Fournier Road.
 (A potentially explosive situation!)
 Two fellows and one lady were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Attempted Murder, Plant/Etc Marijuana and Battery on a Spouse/Ex-Spouse/Date/Etc.

One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire was reported during the early evening hours on the 140 near the Merced County line where vegetation was burning.
 (Lightning?)
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 The caller from Sierra Drive said that their dog had returned home.
 (Good)
 A dead cat was on Hirsch Road.
 (Not Good)
 Someone's property was found on Aqua Fria Road and a power line was also reported down during the afternoon hours on the same road.
 Petty theft was reported from New Life Church.
 A welfare check at the Bug Hostel resulted in an arrest and a firearm violation near the Foresta Bridge resulted in another citizen going to the pokey for a few hours.
 And Finally, A found cell phone was turned into the Sheriff Department.
 (A great safe place to turn found items in.)
 Seven fellows and one lady were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Disorderly Conduct, Willful Cruelty to a Child, Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

 Fifth day in a row for no reported accidents or fires in the county!
 On Acorn Road an aggressive dog was wandering around.
 At almost two in the morning someone on Smith Road was playing their music
 really LOUD.
 Also during the very early morning hours a physical disturbance on Aqua Fria Road had someone getting a free ride to the county jail.
 And during the late evening hours a disturbance on Serpentine Road had another person also getting a free ride to the county lock-up.
 Someone stole a floor jack from Leonard Road.
 Shots were being fired at the Mariposa Museum and History Center
 during the annual Open House.
 Somebody was trespassing on Oak Road.
 A person who was accidentally shot was at the hospital in Mariposa.
 A dirt bike rider was injured way out on the Hite's Cove Road.
 And Finally, A call came in to dispatch during the afternoon hours about someone who was laying down on Indian Peak Road near the intersection of Hirsch Road. Units were called to the scene but when the CHP arrived they discovered no one was injured.
 (Strange Times!)

 Fourth day in a row for no reported accidents or fires in the county!
 The caller from Chowchilla Mountain Road called in with information about a garden.
 (Probably not a vegetable garden.)
 Animal cruelty was reported from Peg Leg Road.
 Out on Indian Peak Road a barking dog was driving the neighbors over the edge.
 During the evening hours a resident on Homestead Road reported receiving
 harassing phone calls.
 And Finally, The caller from Yosemite Oaks Road reported a mountain lion in the area.
 (Reminder: When walking in the foothills/mountains always look up into the tree branches,
 you may be surprised!)
 Two fellows and one lady were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Suspended Drivers License, Child Cruelty and Intimidate a Witness/Victim.

No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 A stray steer was wandering around Ben Hur Road.
 Quite a few lost things were reported in the county yesterday.
 A digital camera was lost on Hite's Cove Road, someone's property was lost on Grosjean Road, a Border Collie on Sierra Drive, a dog on 49 South near Mariposa, a purse out on Peg Leg Road and a dog on Wildcat Road.
 A caller from Whitmore Drive was reporting that someone had too many cats.
 During the later morning hours someone was making threats on 10th Street.
 An employment issue was taking place at the Super 8 Motel and on Oak Road the caller reported workplace harassment.
 A vehicle was vandalized on Miwuk Road.
 The caller from Ernst Road had questions.
 And Finally, A dead skunk was reported on Highway 49 near Mariposa.
 (Wonder how they found it?)
 Three people were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI and First Degree Burglary.

Wednesday May 19, 2010
 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 A German Shepherd on Granite Dome Road was picked up and sent to Impound.
 Loose dogs were out exploring on Allred Road.
 During the morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed at the parking lot behind the Chevron in Mariposa and also about an hour later on 11th Street.
 During the evening hours a suspicious person was observed on Bear Valley Road.
 During the later morning hours someone was trespassing on Oak Road and then during the evening hours someone was trespassing on Smith Road.
 A wallet was found near the intersection of the 140 and 49 North.
 Some jerk dumped their junk on the Greeley Hill Road.
 A burglary was reported from the 132 near Coulterville.
 Over on Chicharra Way a landlord and a tenant were going round and round
 about something or other.
 And Finally, During the very late evening hours a dog that was barking on Hirsch Road was keeping the neighbors from counting sheep.
 (Maybe they should be counting puppies instead!)

 Over on Ranchito Drive it was a case of a dog versus a chicken.
 During the very early morning hours a caller reported hearing LOUD banging noises coming from the PD Quick.
 The caller from Hernandez Drive reported identity theft.
 Someone's property was found at the VFW Hall in Coulterville.
 A video camera was reported lost at the Stage Stop.
 Stalking was reported from Oak Road.
 And Finally, The caller from Creekview Road reported a large rodent in the garage.
 (Do not, we repeat, do not give the little 'Gremlin' water!)

 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday as everyone was being extra careful with the rainy weather in the area.
 A loose dog was out running around Mariposa and three loose dogs were out exploring on Ashworth Road.
 A couple of trees limbs were reported down yesterday with calls coming in from the 140 near Midpines and also on Ben Hur Road.
 Someone was making threats on Coakley Circle.
 During the Midnight hour vandalism was reported from Hornitos Road.
 Petty theft /fraud was reported from the District Attorney's office.
 And Finally, Two German Shepherds were found on Margarita Court in the Coulterville area of the county.
 (Possibly retracing John Muir's route to Yosemite?)

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the morning hours on Greeley Hill Road near the intersection of the Priest Coulterville Road where a vehicle was off of the road and had struck a power pole.
 A party on Wildwood Drive had the neighbors calling the sheriff at one in the morning.
 Also during the very early morning hours someone was reported to be shooting unsafely on Wass Road.
 (Just fillin' the freezer.)
 An inured goose was noticed on Silva Road and hours later another call came in to the sheriff department about an inured goose on Silva Road.
 (Same Goose?)
 A burglary was reported from Fairgrounds Road and Coakley Circle.
 A mini bike was stolen from Wilbur's Way.
 Someone was trespassing on the 41 near Fish Camp and on Ben Hur Road trespassing along with petty theft was reported.
 Vandalism was reported from High Street in Hornitos.
 And Finally, Out on Lake McClure a boater was stranded in the Horseshoe Bend area and another boater was stranded in the Cottonwood Creek area of the lake.

One reported fire/smoke call in the county yesterday and that call came in during the evening hours where the caller reported seeing smoke in the Sweetwater area of the county.
No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
Two dogs that were messing around with someone's chickens on Smith Road
were sent to Impound.
A barking dog during the very early morning hours had the neighbors on Coachman Road calling the sheriff department.
A stray steer on Hirsch Road was contained.
Two loose dogs were out running around the KOA in Midpines.
A suspicious vehicle was observed on Indian Peak Road and someone was reported as shooting unsafely on that same road during the early evening hours.
Also unsafe shooting was reported from the store in Bear Valley and on Heritage Lane.
During the evening hours suspicious circumstances were reported from
Ashworth Road.
And Finally, A dispute was taking place at the Pizza Factory.
(Hopefully not over a Chicken Sandwich!)
One fellow was booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for using someone's account information without an approval.

No reported fires in the county yesterday.
A couple of reported accidents in the county yesterday on the 41 near Fish Camp during the morning commute hours.
Someone's dog was found on Ben Hur Road and a horse was reported
as lost on that same road.
(Coincidence?)
An injured horse was on Oak Road and a dog was missing from Lookout Mountain Road.
During the evening hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Usona Road.
And Finally, On School Lane a Chihuahua was reported as missing.
(Small dog in a really big world!)

No reported fires in the county yesterday.
Multiple accidents were reported in the county yesterday with the first reported accident on the 41 near Tenaya Lodge during the morning hours with an ambulance dispatched to the scene. The second accident was on 49 North during the afternoon hours that involved property damage. The third accident was reported from the Mariposa County High School during the early evening hours. The fourth accident took place on Hirsch Road near Indian Peak during the evening hours that involved a solo vehicle.
Five Brittany Spaniels were out on Texas Hill Road.
(No limits on dogs in Mariposa County.)
A call from County Fire came in about a scam.
A robbery was reported from Charles Street.
Suspicious circumstances were observed on Rancho Vista Road where someone was in a vehicle on the side of the road.
A suicide was reported from Hirsch Road.
During the early afternoon hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Dogtown Road.
And Finally, Someone who was drunk in public on 13th Street was given a free lift to the county lock-up.
(A nice service that the county sheriff department provides.)

One fire was reported in the county yesterday and that fire was reported as a vegetation fire that was burning on Indian Gulch Road during the later morning hours.
No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
An injured dog was on Boyer Road.
During the very early morning hours a neighbor on Coachman Road was calling the sheriff over a barking dog.
A burglary was reported on Carrizo Drive and on Greeley Hill Road.
A vehicle was vandalized on Old Highway Road near Mariposa.
During the afternoon hours suspicious circumstances were observed on 8th Street.
A suspicious vehicle was at the Cemetery in Mariposa and later on Woodland Drive.
And Finally, The caller from Marshall Road reported a lost bunny.
(Anyone seen a lost bunny?)
Two fellows were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Drivers License Suspended and Prisoner Escape Without Force.

No reported fires in the county yesterday.
One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the morning commute hours on 49 South near Lawson Construction that involved a few vehicles and a fatality was reported.
Dogs were out running around Meadow Lane.
A puppy was missing from Pinecrest Drive.
During the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were reported from Stroming Road and later during the afternoon hours from Yosemite Oaks Road.
A burglary was reported from Watt Road.
During the evening hours someone was reported to be stalking someone at the Miners Inn Restaurant.
And Finally, A bunny was found on the Mormon Bar Crossing Road.
(Disclaimer: Not the Bunny found on Mormon Bar Crossing Road, but a relative!)

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place on the 140 near the Octagon during the early evening hours where a vehicle went over the side of the road and was down about a hundred feet into the brush. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene.
An injured coyote was on the 140 near Cathey's Valley.
A squatter was trespassing on 6th Street.
Someone found someone's property on the 140 near Mariposa.
On Jones Street someone was making threats.
A resident on Rainbow Falls Road received a scam letter.
A backpack was found at the park in Coulterville.
And Finally, An injured goose was at the Mariposa Middle School.
(Hopefully was not taken to school for Show and Tell!)

Two reported fire/smoke calls in the county yesterday with the first caller reporting smelling smoke on Oak Road during the late afternoon hours. The second call was about a burn pile on Yaqui Gulch Road during the evening hours.
Four reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place on the 140 near Carstens Road during the morning hours where two vehicles collided and ambulances were dispatched to the scene. During the afternoon hours a hit and run was reported on Meadow Lane. Also during the afternoon hours an accident was reported from Silva Road. The last reported accident was on Darrah Road during the later afternoon hours.
A loose cow and her calf were out running around French Camp Road.
A kitten that was found at the Fairgrounds was sent to Impound.
During the very early morning hours a LOUD party was taking place on Smith Road.
A burglary was reported from the 140 near El Portal.
Just before noon a suspicious vehicle was observed on Pendola Gardens Road.
Some fool dumped their junk on the 140 near Midpines.
A cattle guard was reported broken on Oak Grove Road.
And Finally, The caller from Yaqui Gulch Road reported that dogs were worrying the livestock.
(They really worry us sometimes too!)

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place out on Bear Valley Road during the afternoon hours.
An injured dog was found on Allred Road.

An unlicensed driver with no registration was on the 132 near Coulterville.
During the noon hour, suspicious circumstances were taking place on Allen's Way.
Fraud was reported from Alamo Drive.
During the evening hours someone was YELLING and SCREAMING around the Post Office in Mariposa.
A burglary was reported on the 140 near El Portal.
During the later evening hours an irate guest was reported from the 140 near Midpines.
Also during the later evening hours someone who was trespassing at Martha's in Mariposa was given a free lift to the county lock-up.
Someone was playing disturbing music on Miller Road.
And Finally, A stray German Shepherd was on Granite Dome Road.

No reported fires in the county yesterday.
Three reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place during the early morning hours on the 140 near Ponderosa Way where a vehicle was off of the roadway. The second reported accident took place during the morning hours, again on the 140 but this time near Miller Road where two vehicles collided with resulting property damage. The third reported accident took place during the evening commute hours where a vehicle on 49 North near French Camp Road wrecked and the driver was suspected to be DUI.
During the very early morning hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed at the Fairgrounds and later in the day suspicious circumstances were observed out on Triangle Road.
Three loose dogs were out running around on Allred Road.
At three in the morning a pot hole on Triangle Road was reported.
(Wonder how they discovered it?)
A shoplifter at Pioneer Market was lucky enough to get a free ride to the county jail where he/she will now get free meals.
On Mount Ophir Road a window was vandalized.
Trespassing was reported from Wilbur's Way.
A burglary was reported on Grillo Drive.
Petty theft was reported from Boyer Road, at the Pioneer Market and on Penon Blanco Road.
A marijuana garden was reported from Greeley Hill Road.
And Finally, On Pine Street in Coulterville a dog attempted to attack someone.
(Hopefully not one of our Census Workers!)

During the morning hours suspicious circumstance were observed at the school in Coulterville and then during the afternoon hours

A resident on Hornitos Road reported Internet fraud.

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place on 49 North near Coulterville during the afternoon hours where a motorcycle was reported down on the ground.
A Chihuahua was out running around Carleton Road.
Suspicious circumstances with livestock were reported from Old Toll Road.
A suspicious vehicle was observed on Bullion Street during the noon hour.
A civil standby was reported from Pony Expresso during the later morning hours.
A weapon was reported on the Mariposa County High School grounds.
During the afternoon hours an assault and battery was reported from Old Highway North Road.
Fraud was reported from Meadow Lane.
A boat was stranded out on Lake McClure.
During the evening hours a strange smell was noticed on Buckeye Creek Road.
Petty theft was reported from out on 49 North near Mariposa and on Hospital Road.
Those 'Juveniles' were at it again. This time they were reported hanging out on 10th Street after school was out for the day.
And Finally, A rattlesnake was under the porch of a residence on Chapulin Way.

No fires were reported in the county yesterday.
Multiple accidents were reported in the county yesterday with the first reported accident taking place during the morning commute where a motorcycle wrecked on the 140 near the temporary bridges in the Merced River Canyon. The second reported accident occurred on Sherrod Road during the later morning hours. The third reported accident took place on the 140 near Triangle Road during the later evening hours where a vehicle rolled over.
An injured dog was on 49 South.
Trespassing was reported on the 140 near Mariposa, at Lake McSwain, on West Whitlock Road, over on Tip Top Road
 and on Wilburs Way squatters were reported to be trespassing.
A backpack was found near Jones and 8th Street.
During the evening hours people were heard YELLING near the Woodland Grade.
And Finally, During the evening hours Road Rage was reported on Best Road.

 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident occurred during the afternoon hours on Triangle Road near Highway 49 South where a truck hit a fence with an ambulance responding to the scene.
 Someone found a horse on Blackberry Creek Road.
 On 49 North a dog was chasing a calf.
 A burglary report was filed from Dexter View Road and a vandalism report
 was filed from Mount Ophir Road.
 On Circle Drive a landlord and a tenant were having differences.
 Lost property was reported from Tip Top Road.
 During the afternoon hours someone was trespassing on McClure Point Road.
 A resident out on Holtzel Road was having a problem with a dead bird.
 And Finally, Two residents, one from 49 North the other from Marshall Road, called in to the dispatch center seeking advice.

 One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire was reported as an oven fire on Nutter Ranch Road during the afternoon hours.
 Three reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place on 49 North near Coulterville during the noon hour where a motorcycle was down on the road. The second accident took place during the afternoon hours near the intersection of the 140 and 49 South that involved two vehicles with no reported injuries. The third reported accident was on 49 South near Harris Road during the evening hours that was a solo accident with no reported injuries.
 On East Westfall Road a horse was on the roadway during the morning hours and a loose horse was out on Carleton Road during the evening hours.
 During the noon hour the caller from Stroming Road reported that someone was refusing to leave.
 Out on Holtzel Road ATV's were riding on the road.
 During the afternoon hours a suspicious person was observed on White Rock Road and during the evening hours a suspicious vehicle was on the 120.
 A resident on Piney Creek Drive called in with a complaint.
 And Finally, Down at the Railroad Flat Campground the caller reported being harassed along with loud campers that were nearby.

 chimney fire on Clouds Rest during the morning hours.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday as everyone
 was being extra careful while attending the Butterfly Festival.
 Someone's stray cat was on El Capitan Road.
 A sick dog was on Clavel Way.
 An injured goose was on Silva Road.
 An injured owl was on Vista Grande Way.
 Someone was shooting on Triangle Road.
 During the later afternoon hours people were trespassing/poaching
 on Silva Road.
 A domestic dispute on Pine Street had someone getting a free ride to the pokey.
 During the late evening hours someone's property was found
  at Castillo's Restaurant.
 During the very late evening hours someone was drunk in public at the
 Best Western in Mariposa.
 And Finally, Residents on Golfito Way and Rancheria Creek Road decided to to give
 some kittens to the county.
