Saturday July 31, 2010
 One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire occurred on 49 South during the afternoon hours and was reported as a structure fire.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 A stray dog that was wandering around Indian Peak Road was sent to Impound.
 During the afternoon hours a burglary was reported from Boat Club Drive.
 Vandalism was reported from the True Value store in Greeley Hill.
 A jet skier was 'Out of Bounds' on Lake McClure.
 During the evening hours, explosions or shooting was heard from out on Dogtown Road.
 During the later evening hours a suspicious vehicle was observed on Bullion Street and a suspicious person was at the Dry Gulch Campground.
 And Finally, A credit card was found at the Art Park in Mariposa.
 (Possibly a nice donation for the music on Saturday evening?)
 One fellow was booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for Disorderly Conduct.

Friday July 30, 2010
 Two reported fires in the county yesterday with the first reported fire being a vehicle fire on Darrah Road during the noon hour. The second reported fire was a stove fire
 on Bear Creek Drive during the afternoon hours.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident tool place on the Greeley Hill Road during the afternoon hours.
 The caller from French Camp Road reported a lost dog.
 During the noon hour the caller from the 49er Trailer Park reported hearing shots being fired.
 During the evening hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Ben Hur Road and Henness Ridge Road.
 Also during the evening hours someone was making threats out on Ben Hur Road.
 Someone was refusing to leave the Super 8 Motel.
 During the later evening hours someone who was causing a disturbance on Saint Andrews Road was given a free lift to the County Jail.
 And Finally, Somebody was being harassed on Main Street in Coulterville.
 (Where's the Claim Jumpers when you need them?)
 Two fellows and two ladies were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct, Carrying a Concealed Weapon in a Vehicle and Theft: Elder/Dependent Care.

 Besides the fires caused by lightning in the Park there were no reported fires in the county yesterday.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 Two dogs were found on Arbolada Drive.
 During the very early morning hours someone who was drunk in public at the Miners Inn was very lucky to have the sheriff give him a free ride to the cooler.
 Someone who was causing a disturbance on 5th Street was also lucky enough to have a free ride to the cooler.
 Someone's property was found on White Rock Road.
 The Mariposa Bear was doing something or other on East Whitlock Road during the afternoon hours.
 Another bear was in the yard of a resident on Bear Valley Road during the evening hours.
 (Hint: When you move to a road that has the name 'Bear' be prepared!)
 A vehicle was vandalized on Stout Lane.
 Someone was making threats at the landfill in Mariposa.
 A couple of neighbors were having problems on Quail Lane.
 And Finally, The caller from Peg Leg Road reported a stolen go cart.
 (Think it was the same go cart in yesterday's sheriff report that was reported during the very early morning hours?)
 One fellow and one lady were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Petty Theft and Disorderly Conduct.

 Besides the fires caused by lightning in the Park there were no reported fires in the county yesterday.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place on 49 North near Penon Blanco Road where a motorcycle was down on the ground during the morning hours with an ambulance dispatched to the scene.
 The CHP reported a go cart on the road near Peg Leg Road and Highway 49 South during the 3:00 A.M. hour.
 (Summertime!)
 A dog was missing from Windy Hollow Road.
 During the Midnight hour a vehicle was reported vandalized on Pine Street in Mariposa.
 Someone stole a gate on Hirsch Road.
 During the later morning hours a baby was locked in a car on Jones Street.
 During the afternoon hours a caller reported  roadway damage on part of Colorado Road.
 During the early evening hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on Triangle Road.
 And Finally, Three Longhorns were in a yard on Silva Road.

 Six fellows and one lady were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI, Driving Without a License, Child Cruelty, Threatening a Crime and Battery of a Custodial Officer.

 Two reported fires in the county yesterday with the first reported fire about vegetation that was burning on La Paloma Road during the later morning hours. The second reported fire was a campfire during the evening hours on Ponderosa Way.
 Someone's dog was found on Fiske Road.
 A cat was stuck in a tree on Saint Andrews Road.
 A prowler was reported during the morning hours on Ashworth Road and then during the evening hours a prowler was reported on Usona Road.
 (Same person?)
 The caller from Broadway Street in Coulterville had concerns about identity theft.
 Internet fraud was reported from the 132 near Coulterville.
 A deer was stuck in a well on 4th Street near the 140.
 And Finally, The caller from Pilot Peak Road reported that someone was shot by a BB Gun.

Monday July 26, 2010
 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Two reported accidents in the county yesterday. The first reported accident took place during the morning commute hours on the 41 near Fish Camp. The second reported accident was a hit and run with resulting property damage during the evening hours on Banderilla Drive.
 At two in the morning a broken sprinkler head was reported from the Government Center.
 The caller from Darrah Road reported Internet fraud.
 The Mariposa Bear was causing some-sort of problems on East Whitlock Road.
 An assault and battery was reported on the 140 near Cathey's Valley.
 During the afternoon hours someone on Jones Street was being possibly threatened.
 Also during the afternoon hours someone was refusing to leave the County Park in Mariposa.
 A suspicious person or persons were observed on Usona Road.
 A vehicle was reported stolen from Bullion Street.
 (In Mariposa?)
 A call came in about a skinny horse on 8th and Bullion Street.
 Suspicious circumstances was taking place on Snyder Ridge Road during the early evening hours.
 And Finally, During the evening hours the caller from Quail Ridge Drive was having problems with a rattlesnake.

Sunday July 25, 2010
 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place at the intersection of Jessie Street and 9th Street where a truck was down an embankment with no reported injuries.
 A Cocker Spaniel was found on Highway 49.
 (Possibly the same dog that was reported missing in yesterday's sheriff report?)
 During the Midnight hour suspicious circumstances were reported at Lake McClure and during the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Silva Road.
 Dogs were fighting on Usona Road.
 Out on Indian Peak Road a dead dog was laying in a creek.
 A sick dying rat was noticed on Saint Andrews Road.
 During the afternoon hours someone was loitering on the 41 near Fish Camp.
 Some fool dumped their junk on Worman Road.
 During the evening hours an abandoned vehicle was found on the 132 near Coulterville.
 (LOTTO scratch-off Winner?)
 And Finally, Loose goats were on out Hirsch Road eating everything in site.
 (We hear they even eat the Poison Oak!)

Saturday July 24, 2010
 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first reported accident during the very early morning hours where a solo vehicle was involved on Colorado Road near the 140. The second reported accident took place during the early evening hours where a motorcycle was down on 49 South near the Old Highway intersection.
 A missing Cockerel Spaniel was reported missing from the 140 near Mariposa.
 Barking dogs on East Westfall Road and Oak Grove Road had the neighbors going 'Bananas.'
 A burglary was reported on the 140 near El Portal.
 Petty theft was reported from Horseshoe Bend and at the Burger King.
 During the morning hours suspicious vehicles were noticed on Red Cloud Mine Road.
 During the afternoon hours a dog was in a hot vehicle on Saint Andrews Road.
 The caller from Darrah Road had concerns about someone that was shooting.
 A warrant that was served on Hidden Springs Road resulted in an individual going to the pokey for awhile.
 During the later afternoon hours SAR's was called out to Devils Gulch in the French Camp area of the county.
 A wild pig was causing a problem on Jeffrey Lane.
 (Sounds like an upcoming BBQ!)
 Someone was shooting from a vehicle on Indian Gulch Road.
 And Finally, 'Wild' cows were reported on someone's property out on Mosher Road.
 (Possibly those cows were in someone's 'Garden?')
 Three fellows were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Possession of Marijuana, Disorderly Conduct and Failing to Register as a Sex Offender.


Friday July 23, 2010
 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 During the Midnight hour barking dogs on Pautzke Court had the neighbors highly upset.
 A dog was in a car at the 49er Center.
 A resident on Smithers Road reported opened mail.
 Vandalism was reported from Manna House and a vehicle was vandalized on Princeton Way.
 Thefts were reported from Old Highway Road near Cathey's Valley and from 10th Street.
 Someone was trespassing on Indian Gulch Road.
 Cruelty to animals was reported from Grosjean Road.
 A horse was stuck in a fence on Bullion Street near 8th Street.
 Some fool dumped their junk at the Oaks in Cathey's Valley.
 During the afternoon hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on Greeley Hill Road and during the evening hours on the 132.
 Someone on Bear Valley Road reported receiving Email/Message threats.
 (We also get those once in while!)

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with both accidents occurring during the later morning hours. The first reported accident was on Triangle Road near Triangle Park Road where a single vehicle was involved with no reported injuries. The second reported accident was on Leonard Road near Harvest Drive where two vehicles collided with no reported injuries.
 A bull was in a residents yard on Bear Valley Road.
 Dogs were in a van on Hormiga Street.
 Two stray cows were in someone's barn on Allred Road.
 Cruelty to animals was reported from Jalapa Way.
 Grand theft was reported from Yosemite Bank.
 Telephone problems were reported from Hospital Road.
 Corporal injury to a spouse that took place on Saint Andrews Road resulted in an individual going to the pokey for awhile.
 And Finally, Three dead bats were on Dogtown Road.
 (Coincidence or Mariposa County Strange Happenings?)

 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 There was one incident involving a vehicle on Indian Peak Road near Oak Grove Road where someones front end of vehicle fell off!
 (WOW! How bumpy is that road?)
 Theft of gasoline was reported from the Cedar Lodge Motel.
 (And they do not even have a gas station!)
 During the afternoon hours an assault and battery was reported from the Mariposa Hotel Inn.
 A cat bite report was filed from the SPCA.
 During the afternoon hours someone was loitering on 5th Street.
 Someone was reportedly jumping from the bridge at Bagby.
 And Finally, The caller from Snyder Ridge Road was having problems with a skunk.
 (How could this cause a problem? (This is Not the skunk on Snyder Ridge Road)

Tuesday July 20, 2010
 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Multiple accidents were reported in the county yesterday with the first reported accident during the morning commute hours on 49 South near ChowchillaMountain Road where two vehicles were reported off the side of the road with minor injuries reported. The second accident was reported on 49 North near Bagbyduring the morning hours that involved major injuries.  During the early afternoon hours a accident was reported from Smith Road near Hospital Road where someone on a skateboard was being towed by a vehicle and the skateboarder struck a vehicle. The skateboarder was not injured.
 (Schools Out!)
 A driver on the 140 near Trower Road where construction work was occurring said that a piece of 'Grinder' came off of a machine and struck the vehicle.
 Three 'Little' kittens were found on East Westfall Road and are now in Impound.
 A dog fight issue was called in from East Westfall Road.
 A suspicious person was observed on Jessie Street during the morning hours.
 Possible fraud was reported from Hospital Road.
 Petty theft was reported from Ernst Road and on Old Highway Road near Cathey's Valley.
 Threats were being made on Buckeye Road.
 Someone's property was found on 10th Street.
 At the 49er Center a dog was in a vehicle during the afternoon hours.
 During the early evening hours a physical disturbance was reported near the NAPA store.
 And Finally, Someone was panhandling at the Rite Aid.
 (Probably wanted a scoop of Ice Cream!)

 One reported fire/smoke call in the county yesterday and that call came in from Mariposa Pines during the evening hours where the caller reported smelling smoke.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 During the morning hours a donkey was strolling around on Smith Road.
 Six horses were out on Ben Hur Road.
 A loose dog was running around Silver Doctor Court.
 A burglary was reported on Watt Road and Woodland Drive.
 The caller from Snyder Ridge Road reported receiving annoying phone calls.
 During the later morning hours a suspicious vehicle was observed on Usona Road.
 A scam was reported from 10th Street and the caller from French Camp Road reported a Medicare scam.
 Someone's property was found on 10th Street and mail fraud was also reported from that same street.
 During the late evening hours a prowler was on Worman Road.
 And Finally, Petty theft was reported from Dianna Pools.
 (What a great place to have a camera installed as these cars are isolated from the people out having fun at Dianna Pools.)

Sunday July 18, 2010
 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 No reported lost cats/dogs or found cats/dogs in the county yesterday as it was too hot to move around!
 A suspicious person was observed on Lemee Lane.
 (Lemee Lane is a new road off of Highway 49 North where the Human Services building is being built.)
 Suspicious circumstances were taking place on Daffodil Road and Hospital Road during the very early morning hours.
 A property issue was taking place on Hospital Road.
 In Fish Camp someone lost their back-pack and also theft or wood was reported.
 Petty theft was reported from Old Highway Road near Mariposa.
 Someone who was reported to be shooting unsafely around Lake McClure had the firearm Impounded.
 Theft of medications was reported from Darrah Road.
 During the later afternoon hours the caller from Stumpfield Mountain road reported that a woman was screaming.
 A call came in from a residence on Smith Road about the welfare of a horse.

  No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Two reported accidents during the evening hours in the county yesterday with the first reported accident on HornitosRoad near La Paloma Road withno reported injuries according to the CHP. The second reported accident took place at McClure Point near the Boat Club with no reported injuries.
 The phone lines in the area had a few problems yesterday afternoon as the lines went dead and then returned and went back out again and finally returned to full use.
 A starved/injured dog was reported from Granite Springs Road.
 A sick skunk was noticed on Highway 49 North near Coulterville.
 (Great calls. Keep a watch on your elderly neighbors and on the animals in the next few days as the weather heats up.)
 During the morning hours someone was being harassed on 10th Street.
 Also during the morning hours a tree fell over onto Ben Hur Road blocking a lane.
 A payment dispute was taking place on Piney Creek Road.
 During the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Quail Ridge Road.
 A suspicious vehicle was observed on Manzanita Road during the evening hours.
 A hit and run was reported from near the Hotel Jeffery.
 A resident on Texas Hill Road lost their keys.
 During the evening hours someone who was refusing to leave a residence on Lakeview Road was lucky enough to get a free ride to the county jail where they were welcomed to stay for awhile.
 And Finally, The CHP reported "two very, very, very large steer" near the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Hunters Valley Road during the evening hours.
 (We say those steer must have been kinda' big!)

 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 During the morning hours a person was reported missing from Millbrow Lane.
 At the Pioneer Gas Station it was an issue of gas pumped versus gas that was paid for.
 ( A Slippery Situation indeed!)
 The Mariposa Bear was sighted up on Parambelle Road.
 A loose horse was out running around Carleton Road.
 A reckless jet skier was reported out on Lake McClure.
 During the very late evening hours a resident on Princeton Way reported receiving threatening messages.
 A Hazmat issue was reported at the Arts Park in Mariposa.
 A dog was in a car at the Pioneer Market.
 And Finally, The caller from Alamo Drive had concerns about the welfare of a dog.

 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 A bull was lounging around a residents yard on Bear Valley Road.
 (You never know what is going to be in your yard when living in Mariposa County.)
 A welfare check was made on the Jerseydale Road and on someone's dogs on Jessie Street.
 (Good calls. Keep a watch on your elderly neighbors and on the animals in the next few days as the weather heats up.)
 A injured horse was noticed on Scrubby Oak Road.
 An assault and battery was reported from the County Jail.
 A gas can was stolen from near the Mariposa County Library in Mariposa.
 Some fool was observed throwing a cigarette from a vehicle on 49 South.
 A resident on Campbell Way reported a scam.
 During the noon hour someone was lighting fireworks at the Gold Bowl at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds.
 (Leftovers?)
 Two subjects were reportedly drunk in public at the Coulterville Pool.
 During the evening hours an assault and battery was reported from Jones Street.
 A bear was noticed on Avoca Vale Road.
 Grant theft was reported from Moore Creek Road.
 And Finally, A dispute was taking place over a yard sale.
 (How much you want for that treasure? A quarter. I will give you a nickel!)

 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 A goat was causing problems on Azucena Road.
 It was one of those suspicious days in Mariposa County yesterday
 During the morning hours a suspicious person was noticed on Bootjack Lane.
 During the early evening hours suspicious circumstances were occurring on the 140 near Mariposa and a suspicious person was also on the 140.
 During the later evening hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on Ernst Road.
 A resident on Piney Creek Road had property issues.
 An overdue aircraft was reported at the Airport.
 Someone's property was found out at the landfill.
 Marijuana was found at the County Jail.
 During the evening hours someone had a loud generator running on Cerro Sierra Road.
 The resident on Vista Grande Road reported a Rattlesnake in the garage.
 (Keep the door closed!)
 And Finally, The caller from Highway 49 South reported a baby doll on the roadway.
 (Wonder if it was a Barbie or Bratz doll?)

 One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire took place during the afternoon hours on Highway 49 near Mariposa where vegetation was burning.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 An injured baby squirrel was on Carter Road.
 During the evening hours a few cows were out on the Greeley Hill Road having a meeting.
 A stolen vehicle call came in from Pine Lake Drive
 A couple of neighbors were having problems on Jones Street.
 Trespassing was reported from Colorado Road and at the Hasloe Mine.
 Vandalism was reported from out on Hunters Valley Road and at the History Center in Mariposa.
 During the afternoon hours a suspicious person was observed at the Rite Aid and during the evening hours a suspicious person was noticed on Carleton Road.
 A suspicious vehicle was on Coachman Road during the early evening hours.
 And Finally, Cruelty to Animals was reported from Rainbow Road.
 (If you suspect any type of cruelty or abuse on people or animals call the sheriff department. That one call may save a life!)

Monday July 12, 2010
 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident occurred during the early evening hours on Main Street in Coulterville that involved property damage.
 At one in the morning someone was playing loud music at the Yosemite West Cottages on the 41 in Fish Camp.
 During the early morning hours someone on Tip Top Rod was brandishing a gun.
 (While most of Mariposa residents sleep at night the sheriff department is on patrol and this call yesterday also mentioned that the person was threatening people. Not a situation most of us would want to encounter but the deputies handled the problem.)
 A wallet was lost on 10th Street and petty theft was reported from the same street and petty theft was also reported from the 140 in Mariposa.
 Folks were making threats on 10th Street, Triangle Road and the 49 ER' Trailer Park.
 The Rattlers are Out.
 A call came in from Grist Road and Triangle Road about rattlesnakes.
 A barking dog on Half Dome Court had the neighbors all wound up like a clock.
 Illegal dumping was reported from Pine and Main Street in Coulterville.
 During the later evening hours someone was trespassing on Smith Road.
 And Finally, The Mariposa Bear was out on Silva Road causing some sort of problems.

 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 Two black cows were out on the 140 near Mariposa causing a disturbance during the later morning hours.
 An assault and battery was reported from Crystal Cove Road.
 Vandalism was reported from the Coulterville Cemetery.
 Over on White Rock Road a grand theft report was filed.
 And Finally, A swimmer was reported to be stuck in the Merced River at McCabe Flat.
 (Always be aware of your surroundings in and near water and also ledges and edges.)

 One reported fire call in the county yesterday and that call came in during the afternoon hours about bonfires at McCabe Flat in the Merced River Canyon.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the early evening hours on 49 North near Bagby where a motorcycle was down on the ground.
 During the very early morning hours a barking dog on Pautzke Court had the neighbors calling the sheriff for relief. A few hours later, neighbors on Indian Peak Road were calling the sheriff with the same problem.
 A destructive raccoon was on Indian Peak Road tearing things apart.
 The caller from Ponderosa Way had concerns about the welfare of someone's dogs.
 During the afternoon hours a disturbing guest was at the Visitors Center in Mariposa.
 A resident from Valley View Road reported a scam.
 A burglary was reported from Dexter Road.
 A disabled vessel was on Lake McClure.
 The sheriff was called out to Bower Cave for some problems that were taking place.
 And Finally, During the very late evening hours a bear was causing problems out on East Whitlock Road.

Friday July 9, 2010
  Three reported fire smoke calls in the county yesterday with the first call coming in during the later morning hours about a fire on Silva Road near Carleton Road that involved a few acres. The second reported call came in from the Greeley Hill area about seeing smoke. That caller was apparently was seeing smoke from a fire near Kinsley that the Stanislaus National Forest had authorized. The third call came in from Smith Station Road during the afternoon hours where the caller reported seeing smoke.
 Four reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident occurring during the morning hours on 49 South near StreeterMountain Road where a vehicle hit a fence with no reported injuries. The second reported accident took place in the West America Bank parking lot during the afternoon hours that involved property damage. The third reported accident took place on the Priest Coulterville Road during the afternoon hours where a vehicle went over the embankment. The fourth reported accident took place during the late evening hours on Grosjean Road near Avoca Vale Road where a truck hit a tree.
 A puppy was found at the Recorder's office in Mariposa.
 A loose Pit-bull was out running around the cemetery in Mariposa.
 One hour later an aggressive Pit-bull was at the Pioneer Market.

 Suspicious horse deaths were reported from Tulipan Road.
 Petty theft of a purse was reported from Spriggs Road.
 During the noon hour suspicious circumstances were taking place on French Camp Road.
 A suspicious person was noticed on the Jerseydale Road during the afternoon hours.
 And Finally, The caller from Boyer Road was having problems with a Rattlesnake.

 Two reported fire/smoke calls in the county yesterday with the first call coming in during the later morning hours from Greeley Hill Road where the caller reported seeing smoke. The second call came in during the early afternoon hours about a fire on Rancheria Creek Road that was held to around an acre.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 Someone was missing their dog on Totokon Road.
 A 'vicious' kitten was out on Old Highway Road near Cathey's Valley.
 A sick kitten on Ernst Road was sent to Impound.
 During the early morning hours an assault and battery was reported from Narcisco Way.
 Fraud was reported from Hospital Road and on 10th Street.
 The caller from Live Oak Road reported a Craig's List Scam.

 A burglary was reported from Sherlock Road.
 A reported fuel spill on Highway 41 near Fish Camp was covering a couple miles of roadway.
 An assault was reported from the Bear Creek Cabins.
 Someone was reportedly drunk in public up at Goat Meadows.
 During the evening hours a domestic dispute at the Rest Stop in Mariposa resulted in someone getting a short lift to the Mariposa County Jail.
 During the late evening hours fireworks were reported at the Woodland School.
 And Finally, The caller from the 140 near Cathey's Valley reported a black cow in the yard.

  One fire was reported in the county yesterday and that fire report came in during the noon hour from Main Street in Coulterville.
 One accident was reported in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the early evening hours on Darrah Road near Snow Creek Road where a vehicle hit a tree with someone going to the local hospital with minor injuries.
 Loose dogs were out running around Rastro Way.
 A loose bull was out running around Bear Valley Road.
 Petty theft was reported from 49 North near Bear Valley.
 Someone was trespassing on Ernst Road.
 An aggressive bear was reported from Highway 41 near Fish Camp.
 During the evening hours a complaint about a campfire at Barrett Cove resulted in someone receiving a warning.
 A water leak was reported from the Don Pedro Elementary School.
 And Finally, A possible Rattlesnake was observed on Rainbow Road.

 During the Midnight hour a caller reported shots or fireworks were coming from Carter Road.
 On Ponderosa Way a cat was stuck in a tree.
 Petty theft was reported from Highway 41 in Fish Camp.
 During the early evening hours someone was trespassing on Buckeye Road.

 Two reported fires in the county yesterday with the first reported fire on Jessie Street during the later morning hours where a small vegetation fire was occurring. The second reported fire was out on Merced Falls Road during the evening hours where vegetation was burning.
 No reported accidents in Mariposa County yesterday.
 There was a fatality during the morning hours near the intersection of Highway 41 and Lucky Lane (By Chukchansi Casino) where a motorcycle was down on the ground.
 During the early morning hours a stolen vehicle report was filed from 9th Street.
 Trespassing was reported on Triangle Road.
 Suspicious circumstances were reported from Indian Peak Road and during the evening hours from the Total Waste yard.
 At the Lake McClure Marina a damaged vessel report was filed.
 Someone lost their wallet at Lake McSwain.
 An accident with property damage was reported at the Barrett Cove Marina.
 An assault and battery was reported from Woodview Lane.
 During the evening hours someone was making threats at the Stage Stop.
 And Finally, A barking dog during the afternoon hours on Saint Andrews Road had the neighbors calling the sheriff.

 Two fires were reported in the county yesterday with the first call coming in from Triangle Road during the morning hours where someone had a burn pile on fire.
 (No burning below 4,000 feet.)
 The second call came in during the later evening hours where the caller from Mark Lee Road reported the smell of fire.
 One accident was reported in the county yesterday and that accident took place in the Merced River Canyon on the 140 where a vehicle apparently went into the river near the Slate Creek Bridge. (According to the CHP one person was out of the vehicle.)
 A mountain lion was noticed on East Westfall Road.
 During the Midnight hour disturbing noise was being made up at Goat Meadow also someone was making threats on South Old Highway Road near Mariposa.
 Corporal injury to a spouse was reported from Highway 41 near Fish Camp during the morning hours.
 Vandalism to a residence was reported from Dusty Rose Lane.
 Power lines were down on Morning Star Lane.
 A dispute over firewood was taking place on Rancho Vista Drive.
 During the early evening hours a suspicious person was observed in Fish Camp.
 Someone heard fireworks or shooting from Tip Top Road during the late evening hours.
 And Finally, The Mariposa Bear was seen on Highway 49 South near Mariposa.

 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident occurred on Darrah Road during the later afternoon hours.
 Fireworks or shooting were reported from the Signal Peak area and from the Summerdale Campground in Fish Camp. Also someone who was shooting off fireworks on Coronado Drive was issued a citation.
 (Reminder: No Fireworks are allowed in Mariposa County.)
 An abandoned fawn was found on Buckeye Road.
 During the early morning hours a prowler was reported from Aqua Fria Road.
 A domestic battery issue had someone from Colorado Road headed to the pokey.
 During the later morning hours someone was drunk in public near Yosemite Liquors.
 Money was reported stolen from a residence on Oak Road.
 During the noon hour the caller from 49 South reported the smell of propane.

 Forgery was attempted at the Pioneer Market.
 A resident from Black Oak Ridge Road reported Internet fraud.

 A disturbing party on 49 North near Bear Valley during the late evening hours had someone getting to continue the party from the Mariposa County Jail.
 And Finally, A turtle was found on Valley Oak Circle.

 Besides the controlled burn in Yosemite National Park two fires were reported in the county yesterday with the first reported fire coming in from Colorado Road during the afternoon hours ( Fire on Colorado Road.) The second reported fire in the county came in from the CHP office during the later evening hours.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident was reported as a hit and run on the 140 near Mariposa.
 A stray black bull was out wandering around on Bear Valley Road.
 The caller from Indian Peak Road reported that registration tags had been stolen.
 A number of scams were reported in the county yesterday. The first reported scam came in from Owl Creek Road where the caller reported a scam involving identify theft. Scams were also reported from Smith Road and Hornitos Road.
 Credit card fraud was reported from Hunters Valley Road.
 A fence was vandalized on Ernst Road.
 Those 'Juveniles' were at it again as they were reported to be causing problems in the Arts Park during the afternoon hours.
 A cell phone was lost on Coakley Circle.
 A wallet was found on 7th Street.
 A low flying jet was reportedly observed on Indian Peak Road.

 During the evening hours someone was reported to be drunk in public near the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mariposa.
 And Finally, A welfare check was made on a dog somewhere on the 140 near Mariposa.
