 One fire was reported in the county yesterday and that fire was reported as a structure fire on the 140 near Hummingbird Lane during the early morning hours.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 A dog was found on Evergreen Lane.
 During the very early morning hours a bear was causing problems on Snow Creek Road.
 Petty theft was reported from Hospital Road and the Indian Flat RV Park.
 During the later morning hours a suspicious person was noticed on Park Drive.
 Vandalism was reported from the Mariposa Library and on Granite Springs Road.
 On Piney Creek Road a landlord and a tenant were going round and round.
 The caller from Grist Road reported a phone scam.
 During the afternoon hours someone was trespassing on Fachada Way.
 During the evening hours a caller reported that the neighbors were peeping on Jessie Street.
 And Finally, On Bear Valley Road five vehicles were blocking traffic during the late afternoon hours.
 (Possibly tourists looking for that shortcut to Yosemite. We heard the other day that a large RV was on Schilling Road trying to get to the Park!)
 Six fellows and one lady were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI, Probation Violation, Vehicle Theft, Driving Without a License and Failure to Appear after a Written Promise.

 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 A resident on Hidden Springs Road lost their three legged dog.
 On Buckey Road an animal was causing some sort of problems.
 During the evening hours a barking dog on Pilot Peak Road was upsetting the neighbors.
 At almost four in the morning a prowler was noticed on Highway 49 North near Mariposa.
 An aggressive dog was running around Oliver Creek Road.
 Petty theft was reported from the Texaco Station.
 On West Whitlock Road trash was on the side of the road.
 And Finally, On Granite Dome Road someone was being possibly threatened.
 (It is against the law to make threats.)
 Two fellows and one lady were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Possession of a Controlled Substance and Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.



Saturday August 28, 2010
No reported fires in the county yesterday.
Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident occurring
during the noon hour near Old Highway Road and Mormon Bar Road. The second accident took place in Yosemite National Park where someone hit a tree.
During the Midnight hour a prowler was reported from Old Highway Road near Cathey's Valley.
During the very early morning hours suspicious circumstances were occurring on Ben Hur Road.
Also during the very early morning hours dogs were barking on Princeton Way and a prowler was reported from Hidden Springs Road.
McKay Hall in Cathey's Valley reported having no water.
(Simple, just drill a deeper well!)
A dog that bit someone on Windy Hollow Road went to Impound.
Someone who was illegally dumping near the intersection of Allred Road and Highway 49 South was given a warning.
(Good!)
A request for an ambulance on Darrah Road had someone going to the county lock-up for awhile. A couple hours after that call another call came in about neighbor problems taking place on that same road.
During the afternoon hours a woman was screaming on Coachman Road.
On Ponds Way the caller  reported having a problem with an employee.
Vandalism was reported from 6th Street.
And Finally, Over on Tip Top Road a bear broke into the garage.
(Not the Mariposa Bear, his M.O. is looking for outside dog food bowls.)
Two ladies were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI and Battery on a Spouse/Ex-Spouse/ Date/Etc.

No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
A dog was found on East Westfall Road.
Someone stole some timber from out in the Jerseydale area.
A paycheck was stolen from Cedar Lodge.
Someone lost their camera in Mariposa.
On Meadow Lane a horse was stuck in a fence.
Someone abandoned their vehicle on Darrah Road.
Fraud was reported from Cuneo Road.
During the evening hours someone was trespassing on Jones Street.
And Finally, Over on East Whitlock Road a bear broke down the back door of a residence.
(Is it okay to bark at a bear? This is not the bear from East Whitlock Road.)
Nine fellows and four ladies were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI, Burglary, Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Embezzlement, Child Cruelty, Battery of a Person, Battery on a Spouse/Ex-Spouse/ Date/Etc.

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Several reported accidents in the county yesterday. The first accident took place during the later morning hours on Ernst Road near Holtzel Road where a solo motorcycle accident occurred that involved major injuries. An accident took place during the afternoon hours on South Bear Creek Drive in the Cathey's Valley area. An accident took place on Hornitos Road during the afternoon hours that involved two vehicles, with a ambulance responding to the scene. An accident took place at the Woodland Elementary School during the afternoon hours that involved property damage. An accident that involved a motorcycle and a vehicle occurred on the 140 near 10th Street during the afternoon hours with no reported injuries.
 On Woodland Drive a door was vandalized.
 During the afternoon hours someone on Hospital Road was bit by a dog.
 (Good thing they were close to a hospital.)
 On White Rock Road a burglary and theft of a vehicle was reported during the afternoon hours.
 And Finally, In Mariposa someone reported Elder/Fiduciary abuse.
 (Watch out for signs of this and call the authorities if you get the feeling that something is not quite right.)

 One reported fire/smoke call in the county yesterday and that call came in from Sierra Drive where the caller reported seeing smoke during the morning hours.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place on 49 South during the later morning hours that involved property damage.
 A loose cow and a goat were wandering around Lakeside Drive.
 (Everyone needs a friend.)
 A thin horse was reported on 8th Street.
 A barking dog on Coachman Road was driving the neighbors over the edge.
 A bag of trash was laying on 49 South.
 The caller from Piney Creek Trailer Park reported that someone was making false allegations.
 A scam was reported from Smithers Road.
 And Finally, With yesterday's high temperatures the Sheriff Department made several welfare checks in the county yesterday.
 (A great service that is offered in Mariposa County.)

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place
 during the morning commute hours on Ranchito Drive and the CHP reported an accident on Jones Street during the afternoon hours that involved no injuries.
 Dead bats were on Ernst Road.
 Someone on Torito Way received a 'door hangar.'
 A burglary was reported from Summit Road.
 Someone cut a phone line on Piney Creek Road. Also a large Pit bull was running around that same road and during the evening hours a suspicious person was observed on Piney Creek Road.
 (Coincidence?)
 During the very early morning hours someone who was drunk in public on Leonard Road was sent to the cooler for a few hours and someone who was drunk in public on Greeley Hill Road also was sent to the cooler.
 During the noon hour someone's property was found on Jones Street.
 The caller from East Whitlock Road reported that someone had been using a access card without permission.
 Disturbing music was coming from the Greeley Hill School.
 Someone on Charles Street reported a possible fraud.
 Threats/Fraud were reported from the District Attorneys office.
 And Finally, During the Midnight hour a bear was in a tree on Fournier Road.
 (Do bears sleep in trees?)
 Two fellows and one lady were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including Violation of Parole, Disorderly Conduct and Force.


Monday August 23, 2010
 One fire was reported in the county yesterday and that fire was reported during the evening hours where someone on Smith Station Road was burning in a burn barrel.
 Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place in the Greeley Hill area where a person crashed an ATV and was reported to have died at the scene.
 (More Information: Greeley Hill). The second reported accident was on 49 South near Varain Road during the later morning hours where a car was upside down on the road with no reported injuries according to the CHP.
 The caller from Italian Creek Road reported a missing Siamese Cat.
 An aggressive dog was on Torito Way.
 A dead horse was on the 132 near La Grange.
 Kittens were found near the intersection of 8th Street and Jones Street.
 During the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Darrah Road.
 Petty theft was reported from Highway 49 North and grand theft was reported from Manzanita Road.
 On Ponderosa Way someone had their dogs on leads.
 And Finally, Possibly a horse was in distress on Indian Peak Road according to the caller.
 (With the build up in the high temps for the next few days keep a watch on your elderly neighbors and the animals in the area for distress.)

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the late evening hours on the 140 near Colorado Road where a vehicle was upside down on the road with no reported injuries.
 The caller from Harris Cut-Off Road reported that their Pit bulls were missing.
 A stray dog was causing problems on Indian Peak Road.
 Goats were out on Triangle Road.
 Loose goats and cows were running around Lakeside Road.
 The caller from French Camp Road had concerns about rabies.
 During the later afternoon hours someone was trespassing on Park Circle Drive.
 And Finally, The caller from Piney Creek Road reported that ATV's were being driven recklessly.

 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 Loose aggressive dogs were running around Coachman Drive.
 A couple of neighbors on Banderilla Drive were having a disagreement.
 During the noon hour threats were being made at Woodland School.
 At the First Baptist Church in Mariposa the caller reported that a theft or trespassing had taken  place.
 During the later afternoon hours someone was trespassing at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds.
 A broken sprinkler was reported near the intersection of 6th Street and Stroming Road.
 Someone opened the fire hydrant near the intersection of Bullion and 3rd Street.
 A caller from East Whitlock Road reported hearing someone crying during the evening hours and that led to the responding deputy arresting someone.
 During the late evening hours someone was trespassing on Penon Blanco Road.
 And Finally, A skunk was reported in a trap on Bridgeport Drive.
 (If you trap the skunk with your own trap you are responsible for taking care of it. If Don Simms of the USDA Wildlife Services has provided the trap then he will take care of it.)

 One reported fire/smoke call in the county yesterday and that call came in during the late afternoon hours about a possible illegal burn from Greeley Hill Road.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that call came in during the morning commute hours where an accident took place near the intersection of 49 North and Bear Valley Road.
 Someone found an iguana and it is now sitting in Impound.
 Stolen goats were reported from Penon Blanco Road.
 During the early morning hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on Holtzel Road and a few hours later on Ponds Way.
 During the evening hours a suspicious person was observed on Yaqui Gulch Road.
 Threat were being made on Triangle Road.
 An assault and battery was reported from Hunters Valley Road.
 A wallet was found on Buckingham Mountain Road.
 A few hours later a call came in about a lost wallet.
 (Coincidence?)
 Some jerk was littering at the Art Park in Mariposa.
 And Finally, On Hospital Road someone was challenged to a fight.
 (Fact for the Day: According to Wikipedia, California has No statutory duelling prohibition - California Penal Code Sections 225 through 232, repealed in 1994!)

 One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire occurred during the afternoon hours where vegetation was burning near El Portal.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the later afternoon hours near the intersection of Highway 140 and Jones Street where a big rig cab hit a building with no reported injuries.
 During the morning hours someone was trespassing on Josefina Way.
 On East Whitlock Road a dispute over a car trailer was taking place.
 On Buckingham Mountain Road a Marijuana medicinal grow was reported.
 During the later morning hours someone was trespassing on Circle Drive.
 Identity theft was reported from Jerseydale Road.
 Some fool dumped their junk on Red Cloud Mine Road for a county worker to come clean up.
 Property was found on the 140 near Triangle Road and also on 10th Street in Mariposa.
 A burglary was reported from Gusanillo Road.
 During the evening hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Ernst Road and over on Meadow Lane.
 And Finally, A suspicious vehicle was on Yaqui Gulch Road during the late evening hours.
 (The occupants of the vehicle were probably just enjoying the new 'Smoothness' of that road.)

 Two reported fire/smoke calls in the county yesterday and that fire was reported on Converse Road during the later morning hours. (Report here). The second call was from Yosemite Oaks Road where the caller reported smelling smoke during the later morning hours.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 A rattlesnake was on Ponds Way.
 During the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Josefina Way.
 During the noon hour someone on 10th Street had unauthorized use of an access card.
 On Hunters Valley Road a couple of neighbors were having a disagreement over a property line.
 Someone was trespassing on Lozano Road.
 Marijuana was reported out at Sweetwater Point.
 Someone on Stone Crest Road was being threatened.
 A bear was causing problems on Crystal Aire Drive.
 During the evening hours a health and safety situation at the Art Park in Mariposa had someone going to the pokey for awhile.
 Someone who was shoplifting on Coakley Circle was also sent to the pokey.
 At three in the morning loud disturbing voices were heard on 49 North near Mariposa.
 And Finally, The local ambulance company in Mariposa County was dispatched seven times to various locations around the county yesterday.

 A lost grey tabby cat was reported from Schoolhouse Road.
 Three dogs were out straying around on Monte Vista Lane.
 A basset hound was missing from Varden Court.
 On 49 South near Kemble Road a dead bear was on the side of the road.
 The caller from Alta Vista Road reported Internet fraud.
 During the noon hour an assault was reported from Bullion Street.
 Also during the noon hour someone was trespassing on Agua Fria Road.
 Someone lost their wallet in Mariposa.
 And Finally, Over on Triangle Road someone was feeding the wildlife.

 One reported fire/smoke call in the county yesterday and that call came in during the morning hours from Indian Peak Road where the caller reported seeing smoke.
 One accident was reported in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the noon hour on Highway 49 near Mariposa.
 The CHP received a call yesterday about cattle on the 120 near Sawmill Mountain Road. When the responding officer advised the lady that this area was 'Open Range' land the lady responded by getting upset and stating that it was a highway for God's sake!
 An aggressive 'feral' bull was causing problems on Mosher Road.
 A stray puppy on Dexter Lane had a free ride to Impound.
 During the later morning hours someone was trespassing on 10th Street and over at Bagby.
 The caller from Leonard Road reported identity theft.
 A possible burglary was reported from Crown Lead Road.
 During the evening hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Mark Lee Road.
 Also during the evening hours, someone who was shooting unsafely on Rincon Court was given a lift to the county lock-up.
 And a warrant attempt at the Rest Stop in Mariposa resulted in another person getting a lift to the county lock-up.
 Someone who was disturbing the peace and drunk in public on Smith Road was sent to the county lock-up.
 And Finally, Those Juveniles were at it again. This time they were being unruly at the Rite Aid.

 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place out on Harris Cut-Off Road during the noon hour.
 A cat was reported as missing from Clouds Rest Road.
 A cat was found on Madison Ave.
 Someone reported lost property on Old Highway Road near Cathey's Valley.
 Vandalism was reported from Yosemite Falls Road.
 During the later afternoon hours trespassing was reported from Colorado Road.
 And Finally, During the late evening hours a noisy camper was on the 140 near El Portal.

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday. That accident occurred during the afternoon hours on the 140 near Midpines that involved trucks and motorcycles that resulted in fatalities.

 Over on Usona Road an old dog that was walking with difficulty was observed.
 An injured cat was on Jones Street.
 A cat was stuck in a drain on the 140 near Midpines.
 A dog that bit someone at the South Entrance to Yosemite was sent to Impound.
 At the Coakley Apartments someone who was yelling during the Midnight hour received a free ride to the county jail.
 The caller from Grist Road reported the theft of a bank bag.
 Someone was trespassing on Yaqui Gulch Road.
 During the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on Jordan View Lane.
 During the noon hour someone who assaulted another person on Greeley Hill Road was sent to the cooler.
 A domestic dispute on Triangle Road had a person heading to the cooler for awhile.
 During the evening hours someone who was sharing their music with all the other campers at the Briceburg Campgrounds was sent to the county jail.
 Someone at a party on Rancho Vista Drive was arrested and given a free ride to the Mariposa County Jail.
 Vandalism was reported from Bear Valley Road.
 Neighbors were having problems out on Indian Peak Road.
 And Finally, A bear was causing some sort of problems on Henness Circle.

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Two reported accidents in the county yesterday. The first accident occurred during the afternoon hours on Merced Falls Road near Ranchito Drive that resulted in minor injuries. The second accident occurred during the late evening hours on Indian Peak Road near 49 South where a vehicle rolled over with no resulting injuries.
 Barking dogs on Hirsch Road and Hormiga Way were driving the neighbors batty.
 The caller from Granite Dome Road reported trespassing squatters.
 On Buckeye Road the caller reported that someone had stolen medication from the mailbox.
 During the noon hour suspicious circumstances that were taking place on Carstens Road resulted in someone going to the pokey for awhile.
 Petty theft was reported from Fairgrounds Road and from Yosemite Liquors.
 During the afternoon hours a disabled vessel was near the Bagby bridge.
 During the evening hours someone was making threats on 10th Street and a verbal dispute was taking place on Jones Street.
 Some campers were camping out of bounds at Arnold Bay.
 On Ponderosa Way someone was playing LOUD music during the late evening hours.
 And Finally, The caller from 49 North reported that a fox was causing problems.

 One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire took place on Usona Road during the afternoon hours where a motor home was on fire.
 No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
 Petty theft was reported from the 140 near Mariposa along with another call about stolen property from the 140 also near Mariposa.
 Threats were being made on the 132 near Coulterville and from the Harris Cut-Off Road.
 The caller from Leonard Road reported that someone had been trespassing.
 Trespassing was also reported from Cathedral Spires.
 A belligerent customer was reported to the sheriff dept. from the 140 near Midpines.
 During the early evening hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on Indian Gulch Road and later that evening on Colorado Road.
 A suspicious vehicle was noticed on Pine Street during the late evening hours.
 And Finally, The caller from Usona Road reported a lost Sultana Tortoise.
 (We once had a turtle named Myrtle and we had a little ditty that we would sing!)

 Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first reported accident during the morning commute hours on the 140 near Trower Road. The second reported accident was also on the 140 but this accident was near the Mount Bullion Cut-Off Road during the early afternoon hours with no reported injuries.
 Petty theft was reported from Indian Peak Road and also near the intersection of the 140 and 49 South.
 The caller from Ahwahnee Road reported a missing dog.
 Cruelty to animals was called in from Digger Pine Road.
 Someone's property was found on Bear Valley Road.
 Theft of utilities was reported from Usona Road.
 Over on Penon Blanco Road the caller reported Trespassing/Squatters.
 During the noon hour a suspicious vehicle was noticed on French Camp Road.
 Suspicious circumstances were observed on Leonard Road during the noon hour, 10th Street during the afternoon hours and during the early evening hours on 49 South near Hirsch Road.
 And Finally, Two wild pigs were out on Bear Valley Road.

 One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire occurred during the afternoon hours on Ranchito Drive where vegetation was burning.
 Two reported accidents in the county yesterday. The first reported accident occurred on White Rock Road during the early evening hours where a motorcycle was down on the ground. The second reported accident took place during the late evening hours near the intersection of Paraje Way and Villarreal Drive.
 The caller from Indian Peak Road reported three missing dogs.
 A dog was barking on Broadway Street during the afternoon hours.
 Some fool dumped their junk on Worman Road.
 Multiple arrests in the county yesterday with the first arrest taking place on Maguire Street during the early morning hours. The second arrest took place at the Art Park in Mariposa during the morning hours where a person was acting suspicious. A person who was drunk in public on 10th Street during the afternoon hours was lucky to get a free ride to the county lock-up for a few hours.
 An assault and battery report was filed from Colorado Road and from the Road House in Mariposa.
 Petty theft was reported from Gavilan Road.
 Someone was making threats on Vista Lago Lane.
 And Finally, The caller from Buckeye Road reported a rattlesnake.
 (Watch where you walk in the foothills and carry a big stick like Buford Pusser!)

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 Three reported accidents in the county yesterday with all three accidents taking place during the very early morning hours. The first reported accident was on 49 North near Bear Valley Road where a vehicle rolled over with resulting minor injures but the subject was taken to the hospital. The second reported accident involved a motorcycle that crashed on 49 North near Bagby. The third accident took place on the 140 near Briceburg that had no resulting injuries.
 Someone on Ben Hur Road lost their dog.
 Vandalism was reported from the Buck Meadows Resort and from Ashworth Road.
 A resident on Rainbow Falls Road reported a scam.
 Cruelty to animals was reported from Colorado Road.
 During the early evening hours a suspicious person was observed on 4th Street.
 During the evening hours someone who was loitering by Pony Expresso was lucky enough to get a free ride to the county jail.
 Someone who was 'refusing to leave' on Jones Street had a deputy take them to a place where they could not leave.
 A barking dog on Hospital Road was driving the neighbors over the edge.
 And Finally, A sick bobcat was noticed on Coachman Road.
 (Stay away from sick animals, in fact stay away from anything that is sick, you will live longer!)
 Seven fellows and two ladies were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI, Plant /Etc. Marijuana, Probation Violation, Petty Theft, Taking a Person for Illicit Relations, Pandering and Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident occurred during the afternoon hours near the intersection of Joe Howard Street and 49 North with no reported injuries.
 During the early morning hours a complaint about music came in from Dexter Lane.
 During the early morning hours someone was brandishing a weapon down at Briceburg.
 Also during the early morning hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on West Whitlock Road and then during the afternoon hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on Pine Top Road.
 A suspicious vehicle was on Stout Lane during the afternoon hours and a suspicious person was on Meadow Lane during the evening hours.
 Petty theft was reported from Hites Cove Road.
 Over on Buckeye Road a landlord and a tenant were not quite seeing eye to eye.
 A burglary was reported from Usona Road and on Laredo Street.
 Someone was being harassed at the Mariposa County Jail.
 A possible prowler was noticed at the Cathey's Valley School during the evening hours.
 Also during the evening hours a motorcycle was stolen from the Woodland Market.
 And Finally, The caller from 49 North near Bear Valley called in during the early morning hours letting the sheriff know that a bear had returned.
 (The Mariposa Bear has a really good memory!)

 No reported fires in the county yesterday.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday with that accident taking place on 49 North near Schilling Road where a motorcycle was down on the road during the evening hours.
 On Esperance Road someone's dogs were in the trash.
 An injured hawk was on 49 North near the Mariposa County Airport.
 At two in the morning someone was reported to be drunk in public on Piney Creek Road.
 During the early morning hours suspicious circumstances were reported on Agua Fria Road.
 A burglary was reported from Smith Road.
 The caller from Indian Peak Road reported an Internet scam.
 During the noon hour the caller from Dogtown Road reported someone trespassing.
 A vessel was stranded at Bagby and also on Lake McClure, teenagers were stuck on the dam during the evening hours.
 Someone was assaulted with a bottle in Mariposa.
 A domestic problem on Cuneo Road had someone getting a free ride to the county jail and a problem at the Art Park in Mariposa during the evening hours also had someone getting to spend time in the same facility.
 During the late evening hours suspicious circumstances were occurring on Gavilan Road.
 And Finally, A donkey was reported to be in distress on Holtzel Road.
 (This donkey was past being distressed as he was no longer of this earth.)
 Ten fellows were booked yesterday in the county under lock and key for various offenses including DUI, Disorderly Conduct, Inflicting Injury/Etc. on a Child, Obstructing a Public Officer, Possession of Concentrated Cannabis and Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.

 For yet another day no reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday as everyone is being very, very careful.
 Someone stole somebody's dog from Bull Creek Road.
 Cows were out having a meeting on Ashworth Road.
 A dog that was acting aggressively on the Barrett Cove Road was sent to Impound.
 During the very early morning hours suspicious circumstances that were occurring on the 140 near El Portal resulted in someone going to the pokey for a few hours.
 Someone was poaching on Avoca Vale Road.
 During the later morning hours someone was being harassed on Parmabelle Road.
 During the noon hour suspicious circumstances were observed out on Indian Peak Road and during the afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was on the Exchequer Road.
 The caller from Saint Andrews Road reported smelling "Something Dead!"
 A bear on Bear Valley Road was causing problems.
 During the evening hours someone was trespassing on Meadow Lane and a burglary was reported from Converse Road.
 And Finally, The caller from Mueller Road reported having problems with the Wild Turkeys.
 (We also have problems as this year they are so large they will not fit in the cooking pot!)

 A dog was found on Dogtown Road.
 Dogs were out running around Cedar Avenue.
 During the later morning hours a suspicious vehicle was observed on Picadero Way and during the later afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Stroming Road.
 (Possibly looking for the County Park?)
 The caller from Oak Drive reported a scam.
 During the evening hours child molestation was reported from Silva Road.
 A burglary was reported from Elizabeth Lane.
 And Finally, On Lakeside Drive a bear was in a chicken coop.
 (Not the Mariposa Bear, he like his chicken cooked!)

 For yet another day no reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday as everyone is being very careful.
 A cockatiel was found on Cole Road.
 A puppy was surrendered on Princeton Way.
 An injured dog was out on Dogtown Road.
 (Most likely those cats from Cat Town made a visit!)
 At almost two in the morning someone who was causing a disturbance on the Jerseydale Road was lucky enough to get to spend some time in the Mariposa County Jail.
 Burglaries were reported on Boat Club Drive and at the Lake McClure Boat House.
 Someone reported the theft of mining equipment on the Mariposa Creek.
 During the afternoon hours someone was making threats in Fish Camp.
 During the later evening hours a suspicious person was observed on Coakley Circle.
 And Finally, The caller from Peg Leg Road reported an attacking opossum.
 (Disclaimer: Not the opossum that was on Peg Leg Road but a relative.)

 No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 On Circle Drive a kitten was in distress.
 During the very early morning hours someone was talking loudly on the walkway by Stroming Road.
 Also during the early morning hours suspicious circumstances were taking place on La Rosa Road.
 The caller from Ben Hur Road reported bank fraud.
 A caller requested that a deputy check on someone's animal on Rainbow Falls Road.
 During the afternoon hours a physical disturbance was happening on Fiske Road.
 Someone was soliciting on Triangle Road.
 Fraud was reported from Yaqui Gulch Road.
 Vehicles were vandalized on Evergreen Road and also on Campbell Way.
 The Pizza Factory reported petty theft.
 And Finally, A mini-poodle was out running around on Ben Hur Road.
 (Mariposa County can be a Big Scary World for a Little Dog!)

  No reported accidents or fires in the county yesterday.
 On Circle Drive kittens were in distress.
 A bobcat was sighted at the Don Pedro Elementary School.

 Someone's property was found on 10th Street and a wallet was found in Mariposa.
 Some fool dumped their junk on Fish Camp Lane.
 During the noon hour someone was yelling on Triangle Road.
 During the afternoon hours someone was being a bully at the County Park.
 A bear was causing problems on Lakeside Road.
 A caller reported that someone was drunk in public near the intersection of 49 South and Watt Road.
 During the evening hours a domestic dispute in the parking lot of Yosemite Liquors had someone going to the pokey to cool off for awhile.
 Also somebody who was playing disturbing music at the Comfort Inn was sent to the pokey.
 And Finally, Those 'Juveniles' were causing problems around the Bear Valley store during the evening hours.

 One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire occurred on Dogtown Road during the evening hours where someone had an open fire pit.
 One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place near the intersection of the 140 and 49 where two pick-ups collided during the evening hours with no reported injuries.
 During the morning hours a herd of cows were out strolling on Dogtown Road.
 During the Midnight hour a domestic dispute at the Miners Inn had someone getting a stay inside the County Jail for awhile.
 A jet skier was reported speeding at Bagby.
 Someone vandalized a vehicle on Charles Street.
 During the afternoon hours a woman was flagging down cars near the Bear Creek Cabins.
 And Finally, At four in the morning a LOUD party at the Shore Fun Trailer Park had the neighbors calling the sheriff for relief.
