April 19, 2018 - Saturday evening, April 14, the Mariposa Butterfly Festival Board and members held an event, Taste of Mariposa. Marshall Long after attending the Health Fair and the event for the Charter School in Cathey's Valley came to the Taste event and was the auctioneer for the live auction.
Another candidate came in said something to an attendee and walked back out. Then she posted that she had a busy weekend and listed the events she had attended, including the Taste of Mariposa. Attending the event and eating dinner, then being the auctioneer for the live auction counts as attending the event. A quick in and out does not. I don't like being misled. How far does that go?
I am voting for Marshall Long because he speaks the truth and doesn't want water meters on wells, grew up in Mariposa, attended school here and has always tried to do the best not only for District 3 but all of Mariposa. As a member of Made in Mariposa (MIM) I and am so grateful to be able to promote my creations as MIM.
