I have had occasions for small group meetings with John Carrier regarding projects I am working on and I have seen him in action at Board of Supervisor meetings. In all instances, Mr. Carrier has been well prepared -- from what I can tell, he reads everything given to him, researches on his own, and thinks about the items. He is open minded and has asked pertinent questions that get to the heart of the matter before casting his votes.

In reference to my own projects, he has given sound advice on what my next steps might be and who to contact to help with various aspects. I have also often seen him at the monthly Mariposa County Unified School District board meetings which is a clear indication to me of how much he cares about the students in our county. I have always found Mr. Carrier to be completely courteous, professional, and helpful. It is clear he understands his job is to serve not just his own district, but Mariposa County as a whole, and it is also clear he cares deeply about this county. If you are in District 5, please re-elect John Carrier!
