For altogether too many years, the voters of Sierra Foothills have been in the grip of outside forces purporting to represent us in Congress. Our present representative does not even live within our borders of Congressional District 4 and his frequent diatribes are clearly intended to serve outside interests as well. The latest screed from him is the last straw, he has stated his intention to support in the upcoming Presidential election a vicious real estate magnate with a record of bankruptcies and tax evasion, using foul mouthed expletives aimed at those least able to defend themselves: the poor, the homeless, the Latinos, the displaced, the sick and the jobless. What is even worse, this Presidential candidate has loudly threatened to prosecute and incarcerate his opponent should he win the coming Presidential election while encouraging his misguided following into attempts to assassinate her. All of which are not only unconstitutional, they are also in violation of the law.

Dr. Bob Derlet has promised to protect Social Security and Medicare for seniors, improve education for our children, make college affordable and protect the rights of women. He is intent upon bringing new jobs to our district and supports new technologies to alleviate the devastating effects of drought upon our beautiful Sierra forests. Best of all he and his family reside within District 4.
Dr. Bob Derlet is a Medical Doctor with a career background in emergency room care and veteran care both vitally needed in our district, especially with the immediate threat of the Zika Virus mosquito as well as other noxious diseases that can and will devastate our population.
No matter what your affiliation, whether it be Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, Green Party or any other, think first of your district, think first of our magnificent, unmatched Sierra and vote for Dr. Bob Derlet.
