April 19, 2018 - The Chili Cook Off and Dessert Auction that Sierra Foothill Charter School held on April 14, 2018 at The Alley was a huge success, raising $8,002.38 in support of SFCS students and programs. Attendees were able to sample four different types of chili along with cornbread while listening to local band, "The Jespersons" and their special guest musicians. After dinner and music, former SFCS board member Chris Phillips led the dessert auction. There were two tables full of delicious desserts for bidders to choose from. The highest winning bid for the evening was $1,000 for a banana cake. There were many other very generous winning bids on a variety of items. It was a lovely spring evening, a fun atmosphere, and a great show of support for SFCS from the community.
