Passengers from Merced and Mariposa Counties are in for a treat… on YARTS!

August 1, 2018 - Starting August 15, 2018, and running through June 30, 2019, YARTS will offer discounted and free fares to residents of Merced and Mariposa Counties.

This program is funded through the Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) and tickets are subject to availabilty and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

The following conditions apply: TICKETS ARE ONLY VALID FOR THE HWY 140 YARTS SERVICE.

FOR MERCED COUNTY RESIDENTS:

Passes must be purchased 1810 K Street, Merced, Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, starting August 15, 2018.

Limit 4 adult tickets per household. No limit on child tickets.

A valid ID with a Merced County address must be presented at the time of purchase.

Each ticket is valid for one round-trip to Yosemite (or anywhere along the route). Tickets do not expire, but must be purchased prior to June 30, 2019.

Prices: Adults (18 years and up) $5.00; Children (13-17 years); $2.50; Children under 12 years: FREE.

FOR MARIPOSA COUNTY RESIDENTS:

Passes can be obtained by calling Community Services at (209) 966-5315 (Updated number 8/18.)

Limit is one ticket per person per day. No limit on tickets per household.

A valid Mariposa County address is required. PO Boxes will not be accepted.

Each ticket is valid for one-round trip to Yosemite or Merced (or anywhere along the route). Tickets do not expire, but must be issued by June 30, 2019.

Prices: FREE to all Mariposa County residents.
