NMCHC BkfstNorthern Mariposa County History Center Breakfast

NMCHC Community Breakfast on Sunday, August 12th

August 2, 2018 - Whether you are a “local”, “tourist” or simply out for a Sunday drive, come and enjoy pancakes and eggs…cooked the way YOU like ‘em… at the Old Schoolhouse in Historic Coulterville, located at the corner of Broadway and Cemetery Streets.  Breakfast will be served on Sunday, August 12th from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

Not only is breakfast a great value - a generous serving of eggs, ham or sausage, “all-you-can-eat” pancakes, fresh fruit and beverage for only $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children or a family “package” for $15.00 (2 adults & 2 children), but you are helping fund Coulterville’s museum at the same time!  The proceeds of these monthly breakfasts are used to maintain and operate the History Center, located at the intersection of Hwys. 49 & 132 (base of the John Muir Route); open Thursday – Sunday, 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.

If you are not a current museum member and decide to join that morning, your meal is “on the house".  There is a free drawing for a complimentary breakfast held each month and raffle tickets for baked goodies and assorted items that you can win on the spot.  Members don't forget to use your breakfast discount.

The NMCHC was established as a 501c3 charitable organization in 1976.  Visited by thousands each year, including international travelers from around the world, the various displays and photos at the museum provide an authentic glimpse of the life and times of the pioneers who helped settle the area in the early 1800’s and those who traveled west during the 1849 California goldrush.  Memberships and volunteer opportunities are available.  Call (209) 878-3015 for more information or check out CoultervilleHistoryCenter.org.
