March 5, 2023 - Amador County Sheriff's Office officials report that yesterday the office learned about an 80-year-old couple who were snowed in at the end of a road that was absolutely buried in snow. They had been out of power for several days and were running dangerously low on supplies. Our Search & Rescue Volunteers saddled up our tracked Razor, made it to the couple's home, then gave them a ride out and to a friend's home.

Our PG&E friends were in the area as well and had a little fun with our cameraman!

We would like to thank not only all our Search & Rescue Volunteers, but everyone who's out there battling the elements to help our community.
