Last week, Rotary came to Sierra Foothill Charter School to present third graders with their very own dictionaries.

Each of these beautiful full color dictionaries contains a name plate inside the cover with a student's name already inscribed. Students were called up one by one and handed a dictionary by a Rotary member. The Rotary members then led students through a lesson in how to find entries in the dictionaries.

Students had a great time learning what Rotary is, who some of the Rotary members are, and how to properly use a dictionary. This is a fantastic program that Rotary provides every year to third grade students throughout Mariposa County public schools. Thank you, Mariposa Rotary!
