April 28, 2016 - The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors have sent a letter to California Governor Jerry Brown concerning the conditions of the roadways.

The text begins: Thirty years ago, California's system of roads and highways was the best in the nation. Today, California has the distinction of having one of the worst systems. A study conducted in 2015 by the United States Department of Transportation identified 68% of California's roads as being in "poor/mediocre condition" and 6,953 of California's bridges as being "structurally deficient/functionally obsolete."
