October 24, 2016 -  By Lordelyn P. del Rosario - Mariposa rock band JNX gave a special rock concert Sunday, October 16 for the patients at Valley Children's Hospital.

The youngest band members Jonah Dacanay (lead guitarist and lead vocalist, age 12) and Xavier Dacanay (drummer, age 8) were once patients at Valley Children's Hospital when they were younger.

JNX opened the concert with Van Halen's "Panama" and after the opening song, introduced the band and told the patients "We were once patients at Children's Hospital and this is our way of giving back." JNX also played rock and classic rock favorites by Ozzy Osbourne, KISS, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters and ended the concert with the first rock song they wrote "My Rock N' Roll."
