* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for... ... North central Tulare County in central California... Northeastern Fresno County in central California...

* Until 6:00 PM PST

* At 1207 PM PST, local law enforcement reported several rock and small mud slides over the foothills near Mariposa, Squaw Valley, Shaver Lake and Oakhurst. Moderate to locally heavy rain continues to fall over these locations and generally 1 to 2 inches of rain has fallen on very saturated soils in the foothills and lower Sierra Slopes.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Yosemite South Entrance, Oakhurst, Yosemite Valley, Bootjack, Batterson, Bass Lake, Wishon Dam, Fish Camp, Huntington Lake, Grant Grove, Squaw Valley and Coarsegold.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
