May 16, 2017 - The County of Tuolumne is co-hosting a community forum with CAL FIRE, US Forest Service, Cal OES, Caltrans, PG&E, Hetch Hetchy Water and Power, and the Bureau of Land Management on Thursday May 18, 2017 beginning at 4:00 p.m.  

The forum will take place in the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors chambers located at 2 South Green Street. Sonora, CA. on the 4th floor. 

Topics to be discussed include:
  • Road Closures, alternate routes, and safety precautions
  • Tree mortality: tree removal projects in Tuolumne County, and assistance available to homeowners for removing trees and debris
  • CAL FIRE Defensible Space inspections: get questions answered on what your responsibilities are for maintaining defensible space around your home.
