Mariposa Democratic Club To Focus On Climate Change
The Mariposa Democratic Club is pleased to announce that for our February meeting we will be focusing on climate change – what can we do locally to help fight against it? Our meeting is on Saturday, February 11th at 9:45 a.m. at Miner’s Inn Restaurant. This is a followup to last month’s climate change presentation by Dr. Latshaw (hosted by the Mariposa County Democratic Central Committee) where we heard the facts about climate change and what it is doing to our world.
Those of us in Mariposa love and cherish the environment around us. We work hard to preserve it and to keep it beautiful. But are there ways we can reduce our impact on climate change? Ways we can help ensure our grandchildren also can enjoy the beauties that we enjoy?
