Governor Brown Issues Statement on Proposition 8 Ruling

2-7-2012 - SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today issued the following statement in response to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal’s decision on Proposition 8.

“The court has rendered a powerful affirmation of the right of same-sex couples to marry. I applaud the wisdom and courage of this decision.”
