Shawn Steel To Speak At Republican Lincoln Day Dinner

The Mariposa County Republican Central Committee’s annual Lincoln day dinner well be held on Saturday, February 11, 5:30 p.m. at the Mariposa Fairgrounds.  The featured speaker is Shawn Steel.  He currently represents California at the National Republican Party.

Mr. Steel has a long record of Republican activism starting with his teenage days as High School State Chairman for Ronald Reagan when he ran for Governor. Born and raised in California, Steel attended LA public schools and earned his BA at CSU-N, masters in history from USC and later earned his Juris Doctorate.   Mr. Steel is published in numerous professional journals, newspapers and books.  His wife, Michelle was elected in 2006 as a member of the Board of Equalization.  They currently live in Palos Verdes, CA.

Shawn Steel has served in countless positions within the Republican Party as a grassroots volunteer to Party Treasurer to Secretary of the Lincoln Clubs to Chairman of the California Republican Party.
