Congressman Denham Hosts Teletown Hall With Constituents

Congressman Jeff Denham hosted a teletown hall with constituents on Wednesday, February 8. The Congressman and his constituents discussed current events in the district and D.C., including information on his bill the Civilian Property Realignment Act (CPRA), which passed the House on February 7th and is headed to the Senate, and the American Energy & Infrastructure Jobs Act of 2012, H.R. 7, which would increase California’s funding levels for critical transportation projects in the state. Congressman Denham also answered questions about the viability of high-speed rail in California, ensuring care for our veterans and working to find employment opportunities for our returning troops, the future of Medicare in our country, as well as the need for a reliable water supply in the Valley.
“These calls are an excellent way for me to hear from my constituents on a variety of issues, and to discuss their concerns for the Valley. On this call, we were able to reach thousands of people across our district,” Congressman Denham said.
Telephone Town Hall technology calls many households throughout the district, and allows constituents to ask Denham a question live just by pressing *3. Congressman Denham holds these calls often, to ensure you’re on the list to receive a call, sign up on Denham’s website, or call the Modesto office at (209) 579-5458 or the Fresno office at (559) 449-2490 and leave your name, county, and phone number. As always, we only use this information to call you for tele-town halls and would never sell it.
