Local historian, Tom Phillips, presents “The Town of Mariposa, a History in Pictures” on Sunday, February 19th at 2 PM at the Mariposa Museum and History Center. Displaying photos from past eras, he will speak about the history he has found in the old images and invite the audience to participate in the discussion by sharing their memories. Though some of the old structures have been changed and rebuilt throughout the past 160 years, or so, the town still bears recognizable landmarks from earlier days. This is another in the series of museum programs which have become increasingly popular at the museum. Though there is no admission, seating may be limited.
The museums located at 5119 Jessie Street, Mariposa, CA. For more information contact: museum staff 209-966-2924
