Sierra Foothill Charter School Enrollment Continues

Open Enrollment for Sierra Foothill Charter School continues until Monday, March 5, 2012.

Parents of school-age children interested in attending this free, public school may download an "Intent to Enroll" form at Sierra Foothill Charter School, or pick up a form at Cathey's Valley Real Estate office, 2660-A Hwy 140. Please note: parents who were contacted in December and asked to reconfirm their intent to enroll or submitted a new intent to enroll form at that time have completed the only necessary step right now. Those parents will receive an informational letter from SFCS in the mail.

As per California Department of Education guidelines, if SFCS receives more applications than availability by the Open Enrollment deadline, a public random lottery will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012, at 9 AM at the Cathey's Valley Real Estate office, 2660-A Hwy 140, Catheys Valley, CA to determine those students who will be offered admission.

Applicants will be notified of admission, or position on the waiting list, by telephone by Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Information regarding registration packets and due dates will also be given during this call.

Applications received after the March 5th Open Enrollment deadline will be granted admission if capacity exists, or placed on the waiting list in the order received if a lottery is required.
