Central Valley Today TV Program About Mariposa County

On, September 14th, Fresno Channel 24 featured a long segment on Mariposa County. The show hosted by Alex Delgado had extensive video coverage of Yosemite, Mariposa town and some other areas. Jeff Hentz of the Tourism Bureau, Kris Casto, Ron Loya (Mariposa Museum) and spokesperson Randy Bolt from the Mariposa Mining & Mineral Museum all did an outstanding job of informing viewers of the myriad features and visitor attractions of Mariposa County. 

They were all VERY well prepared, eloquent, friendly and professional. I especially appreciated Ron Loya getting in a quick mention of Coulterville and the Northern Mariposa History Center as well as Bear Valley. Yes, they did say there were other interesting areas of the county to visit other than Yosemite and Mariposa town, such as Lake McClure and Lake McSwain...but, Hornitos, Hunter Valley, Catheys Valley and many other areas still remain well-guarded secrets as does our present and historic cattle ranching industry and many other "treasures". Maybe, next time! All in all...they did an absolutely excellent job (A+) of publicizing and representing the County in the time they were given.

It would go a long way to benefit Mariposa for those who saw the segment to call Fresno Channel 24 ...559-454-2524 and let them know how much you enjoyed and appreciated the show and even suggest you'd like to see it again.
