Letter to the Editor - To the Mariposa Downtown Merchants

In all fairness, I took my Jeep off the highway and gave my fellow merchants 10 days. 3 merchants in particular said if my Jeep were removed from the highway they would refer people to my shop where recently they were not. 10 days......10 days.... We sourced ALL our unfamiliar faces and NONE were referred by the 3 business' that made the statement. I then went so far as to send someone unfamiliar into 2 of those stores and neither chose to refer the Pony Expresso. They made the choice NOT to live up to their word. I financially felt the effects of my Jeep not being on the street so today it returned. I know there will be unhappy people(you should have been here the past 30 minutes!LOL!)but I tried your way guys and YOU didn't follow through. The CHP mentioned that it was obvious how the community felt by the meeting and that disappointed me. The merchants, along with the CHP was hoping I would be overwhelmed and just go away. Who the (edited) plays that way? It was a calculated meeting only I didn't get the details ;0) I can bring my team next time just let me know ahead of time next meeting........
