Saturday was a little bit chilly and windy for the end of May, but the sun was shinning brightly with white puffy clouds drifting over the Mariposa Court House.
The 6th Annual Mariposa Rotary Fine Art and Wine Festival 2010 was held Saturday May 22nd on the lawn of the Mariposa County Courthouse. It was a fun filled day of wine tasting and shopping at the booths of local artists. A new event was Small Wonders, Photographs and Paintings donated by local artists to be raffled off.
Music from Electric Blues & Pacific Vibes filled the air and gave the festival a happy carefree feeling. There were plenty of covered tables and seating for people to just enjoy the wine tasting and the day. The booths were filled with Jewelry, Photography, Pottery and Stained Glass.

Some of the work done locally by the Mariposa Rotary includes the Mollie Suh Yaley Scholarship, Career Day, Bus Shelter Construction, Sober Grad Night, Woodland Elementary Play Yard, Veterans Memorial Day Celebration, Disability Awareness Project, Mariposa County Fair Parking, Built Ambulance Shelter at the Hospital, John C. Fremont Hospital Garden, Sheriff's Shop with a Cop and History Center Stamp Mill Renovation to list but a few.
