Photographer Les Overstreet captured this image of Farewell to Spring wildflowers in the lower elevations of Mariposa County. Although the poppies made their fabulous show last year, this year seems to be the year for the Farewell to Spring wildflowers as they are abundant on Highway 140 between Mariposa and Cathey's Valley and on Highway 49 North between Mariposa and Coulterville, California.
