One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire was reported during the evening hours on the 140 near Cunningham Road and the County line where vegetation was burning.
No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
At five in the morning a dog was barking on 13th Street.
Dogs were out running around 6th Street.
On Deer Springs Road a dog was in distress.
Two stray kittens on Woodview Lane were picked up and sent to Impound.
During the morning hours and indecent exposure call from the 140 and Smith Road led to someone going to the pokey
On Schilling Road neighbors were having problems.
During the very late evening hours the caller from Indian Peak Road reported a suspicious smell.

Two reported fires in the county yesterday and the first call was about 'Hot spots' on Carstens Road from Tuesday's reported fire. The second reported fire was from the Mariposa County High School during the afternoon hours.
One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident occurred just before noon on the 140 near Mariposa.
An injured cat was on Jessie Street.
Petty theft was reported from the Mariposa County High School and from Ashworth Road.
During the afternoon hours a physical disturbance was reported from the Art Park in Mariposa.
During the late evening hours suspicious circumstances were reported from Veredita Street and on Smith Road someone heard a noise.
And Finally, A baby owl was found on Silva Road.
(Possibly related to the Great Gray Owl in Yosemite?)

One fire was reported in the county yesterday and that fire was reported as a structure fire on Carstens Road during the evening hours.
One accident was reported in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the afternoon hours on Highway 41 in Fish Camp.
During the Midnight hour a prowler was reported from Stout Lane and during the evening hours suspicious circumstances were reported from that same road.
A barking dog at four in the morning had the neighbors on East Westfall Road upset and later on a barking dog on Hites Cove Road had the neighbors very upset.
At the Mariposa County High School a student was under the influence during the noon hour.
During the late afternoon hours someone was possibly trespassing on Gann's Corral Road.
Out on Live Oak Road during the evening hours the caller reported hearing either shots being fired or fireworks.
And Finally, An electrical shortage was reported from Piney Creek Road. An hour later another call came in from that same road where the caller reported seeing sparks!

Vandalism was reported from the School Bus Garage in Mariposa and the Greeley Hill Elementary School.
A resident on East Woodland Drive reported a stolen wood splitter.
Someone on 5th Street was having a problem with parking.
During the noon hour a Marijuana garden was reported from Schilling Road.
During the afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was on the 132 near La Grange.
Petty theft that occurred on Coakley Circle had someone going to the hoosegow for awhile.
A burglary was reported from Piney Creek Road.
During the afternoon hours someone was trespassing on 10th Street and later during the evening hours someone was trespassing on the 140 near Midpines.
The caller from French Camp Road reported a lost wallet.
And Finally, During the noon hour a call came in from Mercy Medical about minor in possession of a cigarette.

One reported fire/smoke call in the county yesterday and that call came in during the later morning hours from Rancheria Creek Road where the caller reported smelling smoke.
One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the afternoon hours on 4th Street near Bullion Street that involved property damage but no reported injuries.
During the 1:00 A.M. hour someone was playing LOUD music and singing on Triangle Road.
During the 3:00 A.M. hour a disturbance was reported from Smith Road.
Someone on the 140 near Cathey's Valley had no water.
(Call a plumber or a well driller.)
Suspicious circumstances were taking place on the Jerseydale Road during the afternoon hours.
During the evening hours someone was trespassing on Burl Drive.
An explosion was heard on Coachman Road during the late evening hours.
Animal abuse was reported from down at Briceburg.
And Finally, A bulldog was found at Grace Community Church and sent to Impound.

Assorted dogs and cats went missing in the county yesterday.
During the morning hours the caller from Silva Road reported hearing shots.
Vandalism was reported from Ashworth Road.
Just before noon a RV was hung up on a curb on Jessie Street.
(The operators should be required to have some sort of training before being turned loose with an RV.)
Unlawful sexual intercourse was reported from Ponds Way during the afternoon hours.
During the evening hours underage drinking was reported from Old Highway North Road.
A caller reported LOUD music from Darrah Road during the evening hours and later in the evening another call came in to dispatch about LOUD music on Darrah Road.
And Finally, Large objects were reported on the Mount Bullion Cut-Off Road.
(Possibly pieces of the roadway as that road falls apart at an alarming rate with no available funding for a number of years.)

A domestic dispute during the later morning hours on Princeton Way had someone going to the pokey for awhile.
A barking dog on French Camp Road had the neighbors on the edge.
During the afternoon hours someone on Smith Road was being harassed.
During the later evening hours someone was playing their music very LOUD on Meadow Lane.
Also during the later evening hours a disturbing noise was heard from the Burger King Restaurant.

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the afternoon hours on the 140 near Trower Road where two vehicles collided resulting in minor injures.

An illegal dump was found on Stockton Creek Road.
Someone was being harassed on Hirsch Road.
Over on Paquala Springs Road a couple of neighbors were going round and round over something or other.

During the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed on Carrizo Way and at Sierra Stationary.
Vandalism was reported from Woodland Elementary School, on the 140 near Mariposa and at the Woodland Park.
A social security card was reported missing from the Mount Bullion Camp.
An assault and battery report was filed from the Mariposa County High School office.
A defiant juvenile was at the Spring Hill High School.
Someone was trespassing on West Whitlock Road.
Someone was being harassed on Stout Lane.
A football bag was lost at the Mariposa Middle School.
A motorist was lost on Standard Mill Road.
And Finally, At the Self Help Legal office in Mariposa someone was being threatened.

Three reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place during the very early morning hours on the 132 near Granite Springs where a vehicle was over the embankment. The second reported accident was on Coakley Circle during the later afternoon hours that also caused property damage. The third reported accident was during the evening hours on Penon Blanco Road.
Three kittens were in a trap on Converse Road.
During the later morning hours suspicious circumstances were noticed on Dexter Lane and later during the evening hours on Hornitos Road.
Someone was being harassed on Circle Drive.
During the later afternoon hours someone was trespassing on Cuneo Road.
Someone was drunk in public near the Lucky Logger Liquor store.

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the later morning hours where a motorcycle was reported down on Smith Station Road.
During the later evening hours Telegraph and Sherlock roads were having a road closure.
(Probably due to the fire in the area.)
Out on Usona Road a dog and dog were going at it with one dog being bitten.
A cat was in a tree on Hospital Road.
A loose dog on Ranchito Drive was causing problems.
Identity theft was reported from Pioneer Village.
A tractor was reported stolen from 10th Street.
During the afternoon hours the department was called out to the Coulterville Park over an event issue.
Possible poaching was reported from Dogtown Road.

During the evening hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Toyon Court.
Also during the evening hours someone was shooting on Live Oak Road.
A possible stolen vehicle report was called in from Ernst Road.

Two reported fire/smoke calls in the county yesterday. Those calls came in during the later morning hours about the smell of smoke from 49 North and from the Ponderosa Basin area.

Someone abandoned a goose at Bagby.
(Hopefully not Groveland's 'Goose'!)
Dogs were found on Paddy Hill Road.
Someone's puppy was lost on Whitlock Road.
During the Midnight hour a suspicious vehicle was observed on Yosemite Oaks Road,
At two in the morning someone in Italian Acres was playing music very LOUD.
During the morning hours the sheriff department while doing a 'subject check' on someone on Yaqui Gulch Road the person was subsequently sent to the cooler for awhile.
The caller from Ponderosa Court reported the smell of gas.
During the evening hours someone was trespassing on Dogtown Road.
And Finally, On the 140 near Cathey's Valley the Mariposa Bear was lounging in the front yard and would not leave.

Two reported fires in the county yesterday with the first reported fire call coming in during the morning hours where a fire in the Sierra Forest area was reported from Hogan Mountain. The second reported fire was a structure fire on Charles Street behind Happy Burger that was reported during the later morning hours.
One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident occurred on Smith Station Road during the afternoon hours.
Suspicious circumstances were reported from Ben Hur Road near Mariposa during the later morning hours and on Oak Road during the evening hours where another caller reported hearing a gun being fired.
Someone abandoned a vehicle at the Grizzly Gas Station.
Someone's wallet was found at the Art Park in Mariposa.
On Rainbow View Road a resident needed to be advised on campfire regulations.
During the late evening hours an illegal campfire was reported from River Road.
A barking dog on Pautzke Court was keeping the neighbors awake.
The caller from Pilot Peak reported seeing lights in the sky.
And Finally, On Wild Peach Road someone was laying on the road during the later evening hours.

One fire was reported in the county yesterday and that fire occurred during the afternoon hours on Bear Creek Road where vegetation was burning.
Four reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place during the morning commute hours on 49 South where a vehicle struck a bus, (Bus Driver and Five Students taken to John C. Fremont after Morning Collision).
The second reported accident also took place on 49 South but near Chowchilla Mountain Road during the morning commute hours where a motorcycle was down on the road. The third reported accident took place during the later morning hours on the 140 near Midpines. The fourth reported accident was out on Hornitos Road near La Paloma Road that involved a truck and several vehicles during the afternoon hours that also involved major injuries.
The caller from Hidden Valley Road reported a Rattlesnake.
A loose dog was causing problems on Colorado Road.
A gate was vandalized on the Greeley Hill Road.
Vandalism was reported from Grayling Road and Greeley Hill Road.
Poachers were reported on Triangle Road.
On Indian Rock Lane a tenant and landlord were having a disagreement.
Unauthorized use of a credit card was reported from Indian Peak Road.
And Finally, During the Midnight hour two shots were heard in Mariposa and a few minutes later a woman was screaming on Jessie Street.

During the noon hour a child was locked in a vehicle at Woodland School.
On Main Street in Coulterville a landlord and a tenant were failing to just get along and six hours later another call came into dispatch about the same problem.

Someone at the 49er Bar was attempting to purchase alcohol.
The Mariposa Bear was out causing problems in the county as he fattens up for winter.
Over on French Camp Road someone was possibly poaching.
A property dispute was taking place on Saint Andrews Road.
Someone was loitering at the Yosemite View Lodge.
(Probably walking around and wondering why they could not see the 'View of Yosemite' from the lodge!)

During the afternoon hours a verbal disturbance was taking place on Circle Drive.

Multiple fire/smoke calls in the county yesterday with the calls coming in from Grist Road, West Whitlock Road, Ben Hur Road and El Capitan Road reporting seeing/smelling smoke.
One accident was reported in the county yesterday and that accident took place at Yosemite Bank where a vehicle and a pedestrian got tangled up.
A dog that was needing assistance at the Fairgrounds was sent to Impound.
A puppy that was found on Darrah Road was sent to Impound.
During the later morning hours suspicious circumstance's were reported from Heritage Lane.
During the early morning hours a prowler was reported from Rocky Hollow Lane.
A child was found on 6th Street.
Vandalism and animal abandonment were reported from Carter Road.
During the evening hours a person with a gun at the Fairgrounds call came into the department.
A child was reported lost at the Fairgrounds during the evening hours.
And Finally, At almost two in the morning a call came into the department from Bear Valley Road about a bear in the yard.

One reported call in the county yesterday about fire/smoke and that call came in
during the later morning hours where the caller from Streeter Mountain Road reported the smell of smoke.
No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
Trapped kittens were reported from Highway 49 near Mariposa.
And a kitten was stuck in a sewer drain on Coakley Circle.
Folks on Quads were out messing around on Allred Road.
During the evening hours the medics were called out to the Gold Bowl.
Someone who was drunk in public during the Midnight hour on Jones Street was sent to the cooler for a few hours.
Someone was drunk in public at the Fairgrounds during the evening hours.

During the morning hours possible trespassing was taking place on Mount Gaines Road and on Penon Blanco Road during the noon hour.
Also during the noon hour, vandalism was reported from 5th Street.
Those jet skiers were doing something or other over at Temperance Cove.
On Hirsch Road someone was attempting to defraud someone.
And Finally, Someone was shooting out on Tip Top Road.

No reported fires in the county yesterday.
Three reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place just before noon as a motorcycle was involved in an accident on 49 North near Coulterville. The second reported accident occurred during the noon hour near the intersection of 8th Street and Bullion Street. The third reported accident took place during the early evening hours on Darrah Road.
Someone was bit by a rattlesnake on Usona Road.
A stray dog running around Sherlock Road was sent to Impound and someone's abandoned dog on Usona Ridge Road was also sent to Impound.
During the Midnight hour loud music was reported from the Fairgrounds and someone's property was also found at the Fairgrounds.
Someone who violated a court order on Laredo Street was sent to the cooler.
Theft of mail was reported from Old Highway Road near Mariposa.
An air conditioner unit was stolen from Lozano Road.
During the later evening hours a verbal dispute on Fairgrounds Road resulted in someone going to the cooler for a few hours.
And Finally, The caller from Hornitos Road reported that a dog was in distress and a caller from Varain Road reported that someone's dogs were all tangled up.

Three reported fires in the county yesterday with the first fire being reported as a vegetation fire during the early morning hours on East Westfall Road near Conifer Road. The second fire occurred just before the noon hour as a vehicle was on fire at the Visitors Center in Mariposa. (An older vehicle that was having engine problems and was parked near the entrance to the Visitors Center had the engine compartment catch on fire. The flames were leaping out of the engine bay before being put out with the use of fire extinguishers by the Sheriff's Department, Sierra National Forest and Cal Fire.) The third reported fire was called in during the later afternoon hours from out on White Rock Road.
No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
A stray dog was on East Whitlock Road and two dogs were reported missing from Gavilan Road.
Some jerk dumped their junk on Preston Road.
Someone who was trespassing on Stout Lane had a free ride to the county lock-up.
Just before noon someone was trespassing on Yaqui Gulch Road.
During the afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Triangle Road and during the later afternoon hours on Rancheria Creek Road.
The caller from Ridge Top Road reported hearing someone screaming during the afternoon hours.
A debit card was lost at Stage Stop.
A fight at the Best Western Motel resulted in someone going to the pokey to cool off and a disturbance at the Oaks in Cathey's Valley also had someone going to the pokey to cool off.
During the evening hours someone was being harassed at the Miners Inn Lounge.
And Finally, At two in the morning loud campers at Horseshoe Bend were keeping everyone awake.

One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire was reported as a very early morning fire on the 41 near Fish Camp.
Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident being reported from the 140 near El Portal during the morning hours. The second accident also during the morning hours was a solo vehicle accident on East Westfall Road near Conifer Road with no reported injuries.
During the morning hours suspicious circumstances were observed on East Westfall Road.
A trespassing /squatter on Penon Blanco Road was sent to the cooler for awhile.
A burglary was reported from 7th Street.
An indecent exposure incident was reported from the Mariposa County Park just before the noon hour.
Petty theft was reported from the 140 near Cathey's Valley.
The caller from Joe Howard Street reported someone was dumping motor oil.
On Golfito Way someone was playing loud music.
And Finally, At seven in the morning a call came in about barking dogs on Oak Road. About an hour later another call comes in from Oak Road about a dogs restraints being cut. About one hour later another call came in from Oak Road about a neighbor dispute.

Three reported fire/smoke calls in the county yesterday with the first call about a possible vegetation fire on Hornitos Road during the morning hours. The second call reported a fire during the afternoon hours on the 140 near Cathey's Valley. The third call was about the smell of smoke on Darrah Road during the evening hours.
During the afternoon hours a traffic accident was reported from the 140 near Mariposa.
A dog was missing from Highway 140 near Mariposa.
A suspicious vehicle was observed on Dogtown Road during the afternoon hours.
And Finally, An unattended juvenile was reported at the Courthouse during the morning hours.
(Never to young to learn court procedures. Could come in handy one day!)
