No reported fires in the county yesterday.
Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the accident reported as a vehicle over an embankment on Sherlock Road. The second reported accident took place during the afternoon hours on Penon Blanco Road near Granite Springs Road where a vehicle was off the roadway by 30 to 40 feet with a fence also being knocked down. No injuries were reported according to the CHP.
Someone abandoned a sick goat on Piney Creek Road.
(Only a sick person would do that.)
A loose donkey was strolling along Old Highway Road near Cathey's Valley.
The caller from 49 South reported that a bear had killed two sheep.
A dog bite report was filed from Indian Canyon Road.
During the afternoon hours vandalism was reported on the 140 near Mariposa.
During the evening hours suspicious circumstances were occurring near Yosemite Liquors.
And Finally, The caller from 10th Street reported an Email scam.

One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire was reported as a burn pile on 13th Street.
No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
A vehicle was burglarized on the Mount Bullion Cut-Off Road.
Petty theft was reported from Hospital Road.
During the noon hour suspicious circumstances were occurring on the Greeley Hill Road and later at the Midpines Post Office.
During the afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Crown Lead Road.
Someone on Triangle Road had a broken water line.
Out on Indian Peak Road a couple of neighbors were not quite agreeing on something or other.
During the evening hours an assault and battery was reported from Main Street in Coulterville.
Also during the later evening hours and assault and battery up in Midpines on the 140 resulted in someone going to the pokey.
Multiple shots were hear on Oak Grove Road just before Midnight.
And Finally, On Evergreen Road a bear cub was stuck in a dumpster.

One reported fire/smoke call in the county yesterday as the caller from Chowchilla Court reported seeing smoke during the afternoon hours.
No reported accidents in the county yesterday.
A stray calf was wandering around Silver Bar Road.
A dog was in distress on Oakwoods Court.
A loose dog was causing problems on Holtzel Road.
Someone abandoned kittens on Black Bear Mountain Court.
Petty theft was reported on the 140 near Cathey's Valley, Indian Peak Road and the Lake Don Pedro Elementary School.
A vehicle was burglarized on Evergreen Road.
Someone left a vehicle on Chowchilla Mountain Road.
A domestic dispute on Circle Drive had someone going to the pokey for the night.
Just before Midnight someone on Darrah Road thought that the neighbors would enjoy their music so they turned it up real LOUD.
And Finally, During the evening hours the caller from Holtzel Road reported smelling Marijuana.

One reported fire in the county yesterday and that occurred during the noon hour where and escaped controlled burn took place on Preston Road.
Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident taking place during the early morning hours near the intersection of Smith Road and Spriggs Lane that involved property damage as a couple of signs were knocked down.
The second reported accident also during the early morning hours was on the Mount Bullion Cut-off Road that also involved property damage.
The caller from Tip Top Road was calling about a barking dog.
A puppy was on the 140 near the Midpines Store.
A dead sheep call came in from Darrah Road.
A resident from Darrah Road reported credit card fraud.
During the morning hours the caller from Silva Road reported that a juvenile possibly had been drinking.
A resident on Davis Road reported a possible scam.
A burglary was reported from Triangle Road.
And Finally, A Chihuahua was reported lost on School Lane.
(Mariposa County is a very big world for a small dog.)

Two loose horses were out on Jalapa Way.
A dead dog was on Darrah Road.
Just before noon a scam was reported near the intersection of Highway 140 and Smith Road.
Out on 49 North a couple of neighbors were having a dispute.
Petty theft that occurred on Jones Street had someone going to the pokey.
During the afternoon hours a suspicious person was near the intersection of 8th Street and Jones Street.
And Finally, The caller from the Greeley Hill Cafe mentioned that he/she missed the bus.
(With all the good reports we have heard about the cafe at least that person can have a good breakfast while waiting for a ride.)

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident occurred during the afternoon hours on Old Highway North Road near 10th Street where two vehicles tangled with no resulting injuries.
A dog was reported lost on Princeton Way and from Yaqui Gulch Road.
The caller from Windy Hollow Road reported a scam.
The caller from the 140 near Cathey's Valley reported a credit card scam.
Someone who was brandishing a weapon on Dawn Road was sent to the pokey.
During the early evening hours someone was reported as being drunk in public on Jones Street.
On the 140 near El Portal rocks were on the roadway.
During the evening hours a shot was fired on Colorado Road.

And Finally, Bones were found on Main Street in Coulterville.

Unauthorized use of a credit card was reported from Yosemite Valley.
Two large trucks were doing something or other on Watt Road.
During the afternoon hours electrical sparks were reported from 49 North near Mariposa.
Serving a warrant on Sharp Lane resulted in someone going to the pokey for awhile.
A squatter was reported on Jones Street.
A burglary report was filed from Tip Top Road.
During the evening hours a suspicious person was observed on Jessie Street.
And Finally, 'Waste of Game' was called in from out on White Rock Road.

Multiple rock slides were reported on 49 North on the grade into and out of the canyon on the way to Coulterville during the evening hours.
A wolf hybrid was observed on Lakeview Drive.
A tree was down on Dexter Road.
A physical disturbance was taking place on Converse Road during the later morning hours.
The caller from Sharp Lane reported that someone was firing a weapon.
A stolen vehicle reported was filed from Saint Andrew Road.
And Finally, In the last two days quite a few reports of audible burglar alarms were called in from all over the county.
(Possibly weather related alarms going off but take precautions lock your stuff up and get a live camera!)

On Jones Street someone was playing annoying electronic equipment.
Someone who was making threats on Avoca Vale was sent to the pokey to cool off.
And Finally, During the evening hours a hunter was reported lost on Mount Bullion.

One reported fire in the county yesterday and that fire was reported as a stovetop fire in the Idle Wheels Trailer Park during the morning hours where a plastic lid was on fire. The resulting damage was confined to smoke damage to the mobile home.
Two reported accidents in the county yesterday with the first accident occurring during the later morning hours on the 140 near Martin Road that resulted in minor injuries. The second reported accident took place on the 140 near Savages Trading Post during the later afternoon hours.
A dog that was on 49 North was Impounded and a dog that was out on Ashworth was also sent to Impound.
Two horses were out wandering around on Silver Lane Road.
Embezzlement was reported from the Tenaya Lodge.
The caller from Cemetery Street reported a phone scam.
Some jerk dumped their junk on Highway 49 near Mariposa.
A broken water line was called in from Gusano Court.
A wallet was reported lost in Mariposa.
(Possibly the same one from yesterday's sheriff report that was reported found?)
The caller from Windy Hollow Road reported a lost purse.
A bear was causing problems on Henness Circle.
It was bears versus a vehicle on Highway 49 near Old Highway.
A welfare check on animals on Triangle Road was requested.
A burglary was reported on the 140 near Cathey's Valley.
Someone left the gate open at the airport.
During the evening hours a 911 hang-up call from Jessie Street resulted in someone going to the pokey for awhile.
And Finally, Petty theft was reported from Old Highway North Road as a calculator was reported stolen.

Threats were made on Coakley Circle.
During the noon hour a child was found on the 140 near Midpines.
A caller reported that the bathrooms were out of commission at the park in Cathey's Valley.
During the late evening hours corporal injury to a spouse that took place on Saint Andrews Road resulted in someone going to the pokey.
And Finally, Six to seven goats were out running around Little Bear Road and causing general havoc.

Someone's bike was found on Guadalupe Creek Road.
An argument was taking place over a tree at the Art Park.

The caller from Sierra Drive had issues with a caregiver.

During the morning hours a suspicious person was observed in the parking lot of the Burger King Restaurant.
During the afternoon hours there were property issues taking place on the Greeley Hill Road.
The caller from Crystal Cove Lane reported being harassed.
A burglary was reported from 49 North near Mount Bullion.
The caller from Goat Meadow reported that someone was shooting unsafely.
During the late evening hours an assault and battery was reported from Memory Lane.
Road rage and brandishing a weapon was called in from Ranchito Road during the evening hours.
And Finally, During the early evening hours someone was smoking Marijuana at the Burger King Restaurant.

During the later morning hours someone was refusing to leave a residence on Watt Road.
Just before Noon those 'Skateboarders' that were out on East Whitlock Road received a warning from the Sheriff Department.

Dogs were reported as lost on Hirsch Road.
Someone's property was found out on Gunther Road.
A call for a vet came in from Sherlock Road.
The caller from Saint Andrews Road reported a lost ATM card.

Also during the afternoon hours a vegetation fire was reported on Aqua Fria Road. During the evening hours a large burn pile was observed on Allred Road.
Two accidents were reported in the county yesterday and both accidents took place during the late evening hours. The first reported accident was on Tip Top Road that involved property damage. The second reported accident was a hit and run on Usona Road near Highway 49 South with no reported injuries.

Four accidents were reported in the county yesterday with the first accident being reported as a hit and run on the Mount Bullion Cut-Off Road during the later morning hours. The second reported accident also during the later morning hours was on 49 South near Mariposa. The third reported accident occurred during the afternoon hours on the 140 near Midpines that also involved property damage. The fourth reported accident took place during the very late evening hours near the intersection of the 140 and Miller Road where a vehicle struck a house.
An empty water tank was reported from Watt Road.
During the noon hour suspicious circumstances were taking place on Kow Street and later during the evening hours on Indian Gulch Road.
During the afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Meadow Lane.
Over on Holtzel Road a couple of neighbors were in a disagreement.
A loose dog was out running around on Holtzel Road.
Some jerk dumped their junk on Aqua Fria Road.
And Finally, The caller from Royal Arches Road reported a bat in the house.

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place during the afternoon hours on Hospital Road.
During the morning hours a rock slide was reported on the 140 near El Portal.
Rocks hit a UPS truck on the 140 near Hite's Cove during the afternoon hours.
A hiker was stranded in Yosemite National Park up by Chain Lakes during the early evening hours.
A dog was missing from Pine Top Road.
(Some dogs do not like lightning and thunder.)
A kitten was found at the Woodland Market.
An injured baby owl was on Whitmore Drive.
A pigeon was found on East Whitlock Road.
A stray pit bull was out wandering around on White Rock Road.
Credit card fraud was reported from Sullivan Road.
Vandalism was reported from Highway 49 North.
During the noon hour someone on Coronado Drive was reported to be shooting unsafely.
Someone's property was lost on Triangle Road.
Threats were reported from Usona Road.
Indecent exposure was reported from Jessie Street during the afternoon hours.
During the afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was observed on Chicharra Way.
Some cell tower lights on Mount Bullion were reported out during the evening hours.
And Finally, A drunk in public call came in from the Burger King Restaurant.

A semi-truck was having troubles on the bridge in the Merced River Canyon.
During the Noon hour a transformer was smoking on Ernst Road and low flying aircraft was reported flying around that same road during the day plus later in the day suspicious circumstances were taking place on that same road.
Someone's property was found at the Mariposa Museum.
Fuel was stolen from Fiske Road.
Someone who was drunk in public on the 140 had a free ride to the pokey.
Those 'Skateboarders' were doing something or other on 6th Street during the evening hours.
And Finally, During the Midnight hour a LOUD party was taking place in Yosemite.

Three fires were reported in the county yesterday with the first reported fire coming in during the afternoon hours from Avenida Central near La Grange. The second reported fire was on the Glacier Point Road in Yosemite during the evening hours and the third reported fire was a structure fire on Hunters Valley Road during the evening hours.
Two reported accidents in the county yesterday as a boulder was reported on the roadway between Colorado Road and Briceburg that at least two vehicles struck with one vehicle receiving major damage.
An agency assist was called out to Half Dome in Yosemite during the evening hours.
At all almost three in the morning a call came in about a 'Huge Party' on Yosemite Park Way.
(Think they were having a rain dance!)
A raft was stolen from the Miner's Inn.
(Was it raining that hard in Mariposa?)
A call came into dispatch about the welfare of a horse on Whitmore Drive.
During the early evening hours reports came in about the stoplight in the Merced River Canyon not working and folks were running the red lights with near misses occurring.
A suspicious substance was found on White Rock Road.

A couple of neighbors were having issues on the 140 near Cathey's Valley.
During the evening hours someone was trespassing on the 140 near Midpines.
There was a property issue on French Camp Road during the evening hours.
And Finally, During the evening hours a sewage leak was reported on the Greeley Hill Road.

One accident was reported in the county yesterday and that accident occurred near Briceburg during the late evening hours that resulted in no injuries.
A rabbit was hit by a car on East Whitlock Road.

An aggressive dog on Bear Valley Road was sent to Impound.
During the Midnight hour a domestic dispute on Hillside Drive led to someone going to the pokey for awhile.
During the very early morning hours a bear was in a house on Daffodil Drive.

Vandalism was reported from Ranchito Drive.
During the afternoon hours a suspicious vehicle was noticed on Watt Road.
During the later evening hours someone on the 140 near Midpines was challenging another person to a fight.
And Finally, A call came in from Carleton Road from someone having a problem with a rattlesnake and then a few minutes later a call comes in from that same road about possible unsafe shooting.
