Letter to the Editor - Candidate for the 19th District Dr. Loraine Goodwin, M.D., J.D. response to Les Marsden

I am sorry this Democratic election has deteriorated to this, but Marsden is starting to "freak out" about his projected status in this election.
 
Please publish this to reduce my stress caused by his pitiful allegations.
 
I entered this race because of the racism I noted over the years and the poor status of women and children in the Central Valley. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Conner states she graduated at the top of her Harvard law school class, but the men refused to hire her as an attorney or ANY OTHER legal job. This racism and sexism must stop. Men can not continue to deny women and minorities our accomplishements and steal our pride any more. Education is the way out, as I tell the students at Madera Unified, but Marsden would not know that since he only had art training with a Bachelors in Arts, and he wants to deny me my many years of hard work and success.
