September 14, 2025 – Please join us while Officers and Deputies from local agencies in Mariposa County take “Protect and Serve” to a whole new level at a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser for the Mariposa Miners Special Olympics team.

The Tip-A-Cop fundraiser will be held at Happy Burger Diner in Mariposa from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Officers and Deputies will be guest servers, and all donations received will be donated to the Mariposa Special Olympics team athletes. Come join us for a delicious meal to support our amazing athletes!

On Friday, September 12th, Tuolumne County hosted a Special Olympics golf tournament at the beautiful Teleli Golf Course (pictured below) in Sonora. This event was for Tuolumne, Stanislaus, Fresno, Merced and Mariposa Counties. Mariposa’s own Mariposa Miners brought home two gold medals, two silver medals and a fifth place.
