January 28, 2022 - Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC) and Sheriff’s Hi-Tech Division, began an investigation into the
downloading, possession and distribution of child pornography. Through investigation, it was determined the child pornography was distributed from a home in Twentynine Palms.
On Thursday, January 27, 2022, personnel from CAC, Hi-Tech Crime Detail and the Mornogo Basin Sheriff’s Station, served a search warrant at a residence in 3600 block of Palm View Avenue and contacted Jesus Caballero. Investigators determined Caballero was responsible for the distribution of child pornography.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Caballero was arrested for the distribution and possession of child pornography. He was booked into West Valley Detention Center where he remains in custody.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is a member of the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which works cooperatively with a vast network of local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to pursue those who violate crimes of child exploitation.
