NET-5 Narcotics & Firearms Enforcement
February 1, 2026 – Yuba City Police Department officials report that on January 22nd & 23rd, members of the Yuba Sutter Narcotics and Gang Enforcement Task Force (NET-5), with assistance from the Yuba City Police Department, conducted a multi-location investigation targeting illegal drug sales and firearm possession in Yuba City.
As a result of these enforcement actions, NET-5 agents:
- Seized more than 1,500 illegal prescription pills
- Recovered psilocybin mushrooms, methamphetamine, and other controlled substances
- Removed multiple firearms, including un-serialized and prohibited weapons
- Seized approximately $93,000 in U.S. currency
- Arrested two individuals on narcotics- and firearms-related charges
This investigation highlights NET-5’s continued commitment to disrupting illegal drug activity, removing firearms from prohibited people, and protecting the safety of our community through proactive, intelligence-driven enforcement.
The investigation has been submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for review and prosecution.
