Repeat Theft Suspect Arrested
February 11, 2026 – Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Tuesday afternoon, Deputies arrested 33-year-old Anthony Eastman after he entered Harbor Freight Tools, stole merchandise and exited the store. Eastman then returned to the business and stole more merchandise before Deputies were called.
North Patrol and POP Deputies located Eastman nearby, still in possession of the stolen merchandise and some drug paraphernalia. A records check showed Eastman was on probation and had three outstanding warrants.
An employee also reported Eastman had stolen from the same business six times in the past three weeks, incidents that had gone unreported.
The cumulative value of the merchandise stolen was several thousand dollars and the employee positively identified Eastman during a field show-up.
