Attempt to Locate Missing Elderly Person 

May 24, 2026 – Ventura County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on May 23, 2026, at approximately 7:00 A.M. (0700 hours), Rudd Miller left his residence located in the 100 block of Sandberg Street in the City of Thousand Oaks. Rudd left in the direction of Wildwood Park in the City of Thousand Oaks. Rudd was captured on Ring video in the area at approximately 7:20 A.M. (0720 hours).

Rudd is a 68-year-old Caucasian male, 5’10” tall and 180 lbs. He has brown (grey) hair and brown eyes. Rudd has a grey/white beard, and was last seen wearing a dark blue flannel, grey pants, and black slip-on style Van shoes.

He has early onset Dementia and is deemed to be at-risk. Rudd does not have his cell phone, all vehicles at the residence are accounted for, and he was confirmed to be on foot when he left.

His current whereabouts are unknown, and he has done this once in the past. If located, please contact Ventura County Sheriff’s Dispatch at (805) 654-9511.
