May 24, 2026 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that through further investigation detectives identified Michael Reed as a suspect in the murder of Tommy Londo and on May 21, 2026, Reed was taken into custody and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for PC 187 – Murder.  He remains in custody without bail.

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 1:05 p.m., deputies in Needles were dispatched to an area near Broadway Street and Quivera Street for the report of a deceased person found.  When deputies arrived, they located the unidentified male victim down a ravine.  

The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail also responded and assumed the investigation.  An autopsy will be conducted to determine the manner and cause of death.
