Have you seen Ronald Slater? 

July 2, 2026 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials ask for public’s help locating Ronald Slater.

The 68-year-old man, who also goes by “Ron” or “Ronnie,” was last seen on Tuesday, June 30 around 5:00 p.m. in the 800 block of Soft Wind Road in Vista. He was wearing a black puffer jacket, jeans and dark colored tennis shoes. Slater stands 6’ tall and weighs 120 pounds. He has brown eyes and grey hair. Slater has a handlebar mustache and is missing half of his right arm.

Due to a traumatic brain injury, he has a diminished mental capacity. If you have seen Slater, please call @SDSheriff at (858) 868-3200.
